I've started to become a fan of his. I loved Pat McAfee during his playing days, love him more now and Rodgers' interviews on his show are very down to earth, honest and, to be honest, highly fucking entertaining. But him lying about it is all kinds of fucked up. The ideal ending to this would be to let him become a lesson to humanity. Hopefully without suffering any ill effects, because I think the NFL is better when he is good. But if it takes him getting very sick for people to shape up then I'll be fine with it (and yes, a sports star becoming very ill could be the tipping point for some of these anti-vax assholes). I in no way wish for him to die or anything of the sort. And I feel very bad for packers fans during this. But I would love to see him have a change of heart and use his platform to discuss his mistakes and persuade others to avoid making the same ones. This is a wonderful opportunity, and I hope he takes it.
Also on the ruggs thing: He was traveling 165 mph, 127 on impact. BAC was 0.161 and he was illegally in possession of a firearm (had a firearm on him while drunk). Victim was 23 years old, burned to death in her vehicle. Plus her dog, bonus sadness. Raiders have obviously released him. Irony is that when he got drafted, the Raiders had a bunch of ad materials with his name/number/whatever saying "speed kills." And his best friend was killed by a drunk driver in college.
I am so fucking mad, I really cannot put it into words. As to your second point, even if he should, he would never do that. I will never understand why people don't just get fucking poked. Another thing with all of this, Rodgers was so fucking pissed about them drafting Love (not telling him yeah yeah it was more about the fact they did than anything else) and now, due to Rodgers own decisions, the kid gets to play.
How perfect would it be if Love just absolutely slays on Thursday and now there’s a legitimate QB controversy?
I feel really bad for Packers fans in this, as well as the media and anyone who was (understandably) lead to believe that he was vaccinated, interviewed him in close proximity etc., when he was clearly lying about it the entire time. What are the odds that the NFL does nothing though because he is a star? If it was some no-name backup, they'd be facing stiff penalties already. The only winner in this is Urban Meyer, who somehow had his "fingering a lady's asshole through her jeans while currently married" swept under the rug by Gruden, Ruggs, everything else going on.
This was posted on Reddit as a live look at Rodgers' "homeopathic" COVID treatment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKk-WBBhRHA
Details have come out about Ruggs "Accident": He was doing 156 mph on a city street, with twice the legal BAC, and had a loaded gun in the car. The victim died trapped and screaming in the burning vehicle.
I’m assuming you know the street (intersection?) where this happened? Is it like a city street with stoplights and all that, or more of a freeway? I’ve seen various reports that he was allegedly street racing someone. this all just hits home personally because one of the big things for me in stopping drinking was that I was worried it was a matter of time before I did something stupid and got myself or someone seriously hurt or worse. It’s just a really fucked up and sad situation all around. And then the lady burning alive. I’ve seen that happen myself responding to an accident, a young lady too and…. Yeah. It’s fucking horrible.
Here's a link to the google street view of the area. It's just a regular city street, 45 mph speed limit, I used to drive that street every day going to work and back home.
They interviewed a lawyer on the news and he said max is 20 years, he'll probably get 10, so he'll be out in 5. I'm hoping he gets some firearms charges tacked on to up the sentence. There's also the civil damages, but I'm guessing the Corvette was the extent of his estate.
By the way, there’s also a plethora of the “speed kills” ruggs shirts still available on Amazon. I may or may not have ordered one. It’s possible to both think this is horrible, and make glorious “too soon” jokes. Or, apparently, even wear one!
The Rodgers drama is getting so bad that the NFL might have to leak a few more emails from the WFT investigation.
In the ESPN article about it, there is this No player from either team would be paid. Damn. If I were unvaccinated and sparked such an outbreak and caused 104 people to miss a paycheck? Wow. Does the agreed upon protocol for that protect the unvaccinated player from having a class action lawsuit filed against them for that loss in pay?
in that case I believe shutting the door to the locker room and letting the players take care of it is the only proper recourse. Just hide the broom sticks and anything that can be used for forcible entry.
https://www.prosportsdaily.com/arti...-browns-will-be-placed-on-waivers-715277.html OBJ out of CLE. Dude was a bust, and has been over-rated for years. He might be the only player cut from Cleveland in recent memory who winds up playing for a worse team.
I mean, we're we at all shocked to learn he's a selfish asshole? Now we'll never know if it's CTE or if he was born this fucking stupid.
Things Rodgers has said during the interview, taken from Reddit: He gathered over 500 pages of research lmao. He is going full karen Ultimate decision came from medical team who he said determined the risk of an adverse reaction was worse than the risk of COVID and recovering trying to become a Dad and said the vaccine can cause fertility issues... "Mask wearing at a podium is "shaming" when everyone else is vaccinated" "Testing non vaxxed people 1x a dat and vaxxed people once every 2 weeks is "not based in science"" "No study done on the efficacy of mask when working out and potential detrimental effects of increased CO2 inhalation" Close contact isolation for 5 days, "not based in science" The media is shaming non vaxed people and is creating propaganda for getting vaxxed Used the word Homeopathy and stated his Drs have been at it for over a decade Collusion and coresion by the front office to get players vaxxed Quoted MLK to drive a point about unjust rules for the unvaxxed Direct Quote "If the vaccine is so great, how come people are still getting and spreading and unfortunately dying from COVID... if it is so safe why do the manufacturer have full immunity?" Rodgers Plugged Ivermectin EDIT: Ivermectin is the "cheap off brand of the new pill moderna is making, why do people hate it? Cause trump pioneered it and there is no money to be made" ooooooooooooooooof
