Clarence Gilyard, who played the computer hacker in Die Hard and Ranger Trivette on Walker, Texas Ranger. He was 66. That really sucks. Walker, Texas Ranger was one of my favorite TV shows when I was in middle school, and I still enjoy watching reruns. May he RIP.
I was fortunate to see Gaylord Perry pitch as well as his brother Jim. When Gaylord was on the mound you could be sure of a quick game while he was in there and many mound visits trying to figure out how he was doctoring the ball. Truth is he did not doctor it up often, but he was inside every hitter's head that he was.
Of course he was in their heads. Every guy at the plate was distracted with the thought of why anybody would name their son “Gaylord”.

Well, if you're feelin' like a pimp son, go'n brush your shoulders off. That does suck, but I'm not necessarily surprised. Hollywood seems to do that sort of thing. Hard to find yourself when your job is it always be someone else.
