The only band with a mortality rate higher than “Reservoir Dogs”. Not even 3 Doors Down has enough pills to reach those numbers.
Maybe a little esoteric but supposed 1st Amendment crusader, pornographer, and all around piece of shit Max Hardcore died this week. Somehow in the digital age of infinite degenerate content online he managed to get send to prison for obscenity.
I only knew about him from videos on eFukt, but he was an absolute scumbag. I can’t imagine what life you have to lead to nuke your dopamine receptors so hard that you have that kind of relationship with women and sex, in general. @dixiebandit69 more than once I believe.
Al Jaffee, MAD Magazine cartoonist, dead 102 years old. Real loss with this one. I grew up reading MAD, as did my brother.
His parts weren’t usually my favourite, but all of Mad magazine rocks. I just found a few old copies from 1985, it’s crazy how funny it still is.
I collected MAD as a kid. Recognize the name but have to see his stuff to remember. The Simpsons, MAD, and George Carlin shaped a young Kubla’s sense of humor.
Jaffee coined their infamous “Yecch!” phrase and his sections usually involved cartoon rants on parents and annoying people. Mad gave us a sharper sense of humour as kids. Perfectly irreverent and cynical, the way comedy should be.
A day late, but didn't see this posted. Len Goodman, "Dancing with the Stars" judge, died at 78 due to bone cancer.
Im sad. He lived in my hometown growing up. Watched him as a news anchor as a kid. I met him a few times. He was a really nice guy and would take the time to talk with anyone who wanted to talk to him.
Well I hope this bitch is burning in Hell: https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/27/us/carolyn-bryant-donham-emmett-till/index.html
About fucking time. She just got to go about her life like she dyed absolutely nothing, refused to account for anything at all. Install a toilet seat over her grave.

Till's cousin is a better man than me: "The Rev. Wheeler Parker Jr., Emmett’s cousin and the last living witness to the abduction, said on Thursday after Donham’s death: “Our hearts go out to the family of Carolyn Bryant Donham. As a person of faith for more than 60 years, I recognize that any loss of life is tragic and don’t have any ill will or animosity toward her.” “Even though no one now will be held to account for the death of my cousin and best friend, it is up to all of us to be accountable to the challenges we still face in overcoming racial injustice,” he said."
