A fucking pitcher just became the first 50-50 man ever.

6 for 6, 3 home runs, 10 RBI this game.

And now he gets the reward of finally playing postseason baseball!

CJ Abrams was an All-star for the Nationals. They just demoted him to AAA after he stayed at a casino all night and showed up just before game time.

Love to see that. You have MONTHS to fuck around with your millions when the season ends. This is the shit the NBA and NFL constantly let their players get away with.

Baseball and hockey? Not nearly as much.

I know most of y'all aren't as interested in MLB, and certainly not as interested in the Braves, as I am. But, this is fun:

2 days left in the regular season . . . but hurricane Helene caused 2 of Braves v Mets in ATL to be postponed to a double header on Monday.

All the American League playoff teams are decided. National League division winners are decided. Padres have clinched one Wildcard spot. Braves, Mets and Diamondbacks are competing for the remaining 2 spots.

With 8 games to go, Diamond backs were in 2nd wildcard spot, Mets in 3rd, Braves out. In 2022, the Braves swept the Mets to knock them out of contention to end the season. On Tuesday, the Braves beat the Mets, then the Wed and Thu games were postponed. Last night, Braves won, Mets lost, Diamondbacks lost.

As of right now, Braves are in 2nd wildcard spot, Mets in 3rd, Snakes are out. This is going to be a wild finish! Braves - Mets double header on Monday is basically going to be a playoff series, lol.

Hmm, I tried to add this, but my phone didn't cooperate.

But, one fun thing I left out:

The Twins completely collapsed in the last 35 games or so. Something like 12-23? That included a loss last night, which means the Royals clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2015. So, they celebrated last night, might be hungover today, and might phone it in in today's game. They play the Braves. Hahahaha.

I think I might be the only other Braves fan on here; or at least the only other vocal one, but part of me hopes that they get in, make it out of the WildCard round against either the Padres or the Brewers and get the chance to screw the Phillies the way they've done to the Braves the past few years.

Yes. A season that involves fucking over both the Mets and Phillis is a successful season.

Braves fan, here. Atlanta born, bastard son of a Georgia mayor, it's in my blood. I just don't have time to watch their games as much as I would like.

My dad was a lifelong Braves fan (Florida didn't have a MLB back then) so I always like when they do well.

Worst team of all time. And I think Reinsdorf is okay with that. I don't expect anything to change for next year.

The bonus baseball scenario happened today: Braves lost, Mets and Diamondbacks won. So, the makeup double-header is on. Braves and Mets split, both are in the playoffs, and Diamondbacks are out. If either team sweeps, that team and the Snakes are in.

Goodbye Oakland Athletics. You gave me 57 years of incredible highs and lows. Now MLB can just go fuck itself till it dies.

God, I love baseball. I am about to lose my damn mind. Schwellenbach put up zeros for so long and the Braves were up 3-0 going to top of the 8th. Then Mets went up 6-3, with Braves bullpen sucking it up. Now the Braves are up 7-6 in top 9. GAHHH!

Braves lost. And, now instead of having their Cy Young ace Chris Sale pitch must win game two, he's been scratched due to back spasms, and they're going to start Kenny Powers.
