My viewing pleasure has been kidnapped. The channel is glitching like a bitch. WTF! Way to go ABC. First MNF. Get your shit together. Fuck man.
Are you still glitching? There's like 5 ways to watch. 2 ESPN versions, ABC (antenna, dish, cable), ESPN online.
Glitched the entire game as far as I know. I gave up with about 2 left in the 3rd. Until the DirectTV BS is over this is it...and I assume that's why it's happening to begin with.
ManningCast is great if you aren't interested in the game that's being played. If I'm not interested in the game, though, there are things I would find more entertaining than ManningCast.
The team I root for is the Falcons. They always suck and they never play on Monday night. So, I'm watching MNF for whichever of my fantasy players are in the game, or maybe other fantasy players that might be in the game. So, I'm going to watch the game. I'd rather hear Peyton, Eli and their guest chit chat, than hear Troy Aikman say "that's exactly right, Joe" for the 10th time.
I found this out when The Bengals played on Monday night football last year. I had been watching every Manningcast. It was amazing. Then my team played and I just wanted them to shut the fuck up.
As a Giants fan, no amount of Manning will make this season watchable for me. I’ll be getting the plenty of yard work done this year.
Wow. Falcons vs Eagles this Monday night. I'm flabbergasted. Somebody at Disney is getting fired for that programming decision.
This is one of those times I hate to be right. There's no way Tua should play another game after that concussion. Blow it up and start the rebuild. <sigh>
Given that the Bills were missing two starting linebackers, a starting safety and their starting nickel cornerback, I am a bit stunned at how little production the Dolphins got even prior to the concussion. I can't imagine what Tua is going to do now. Still in the prime of his career. He's got plenty of money, of course (presumably), but retiring would give up something like $120 million. But he might die, so...
If he retires now he gets to keep 40 million of the guaranteed money in addition to what he has made so far. I presume they would pay him his salary due this year. I think he's crazy if he plays another down after getting what looks like a serious concussion from a blow that wasn't particularly hard. Here's an actual doctor with a differing opinions.
What the fuck is going on tonight? Did the NFL seriously say to themselves “ You know what would be better than one terrible game on a Monday night? TWO terrible games! What a great idea!”
