Yes, the Sackoff character is very annoying as is the Arlo character. Both should go Samwise and choke on gas or something. Spoiler I'm loving the Renee character though. Only 8 hours and she has already sawed some dude's thumb off and went Juila Child on the Russian guy. Jack and Renee will swap spit either tomorrow or next week, I'm guessing. If this becomes the weekly Jack and Renee killfest hour, I'll be happy. There is already http://walkercount.com up. 24 is awesome in how unbelievable it is. It is great knowing that an agent can kill someone and have the Justice dept send an agent in full dress and makeup 20 minutes later at 1 am. I think the Hastings character sees the light and turns out to be likable. Freddie Prinze Jr. is kind of really boring.
Prediction after last night's episode: Bomb goes off, daughter of Islamic Republic's President dies, he regrets it, peace in his country, stupid pointless peace treaty signed.
As the President said to Hassan. Bomb goes off, we bomb you. I don't see a scenario in which a nuclear bomb goes off in New York and we sign a pact with the country from which the threat emanated. Not yet sure how this one will play out by going off 24 history there will be another force at play behind the threat.
Jack threatening innocent people with violence and death is actually more awesome to me than actual action on the show.
Spoiler Agreed. The general sentiment that this dudes own mom couldn't talk him out of the chamber with a 5 minute conversation. Jack goes in and 30 seconds later, out comes bomby-mcwall stain. Its a thing of beauty. If this dude spawned you a normal, "You wait till your daddy gets home" would magically become a non voluntary sphincter releasing phrase.
Spoiler I think the best part of the episode was the kid's eyes right before Jack pushes him back into the chamber. Karma is a bitch.
If you blow up that bomb, I will make sure your mother dies.... Real or not, if I was that actor I would have been shitting bricks after that speech.
Last season they had Janeane Garofolo, and this season Freddie Prinze Jr. on the show. But 24 has redeemed themselves (to me at least) by bringing on Stephen Root. I think he's extremely talented unlike those two.
I fucking hate Dana Walsh. I was getting excited about the meeting with the parole officer and then the end of the episode smashed my hopes of her getting caught. Gah!
I had the same exact thought. If this bitch doesn't die by the end of the episode, I'll count it as a personal insult. Somebody take her hostage and shoot her in the head please. I mean middle-eastern terrorists? Don't they have to by law cut someone's head off on camera? Please, mighty Allah, choose the blond cunt to die as a message to all who would defile your holy land. In Mohamed's name we pray, alalalalalalala
The evil defense contractors who had manufactured the nuclear override set one off to cover their asses....season 4 I think
Whatever, its better than having terrorists using sewers to infiltrate CTU like that garbage a few seasons ago. The remainder of the season just needs to be Jack gunning down countless waves of terrorists and that goofy parole officer stabbing Dana in the face.
