    One of my coworkers is running the Boston today. According to her tracker, she crossed the finish line at 2:20. I am freaking the fuck out right now. We can't get hold of her.

    I'd pay $5 if someone recorded it and put it on the web like the Louie CK deals.

    The gfs cousin was at this (same lady who ran it a few years ago six months pregnant). Luckily FB says she finished an hour before the explosion. I hope it wasn't a planned terrorist attack and was just something like a gas leak. No deaths have been reported but some gruesome injuries have been.

    Double explosions, 100 yards away from each other, at an event full of people and enjoying national news coverage (with additional reports of a "third device" at the Mandarin Hotel).

    No way this is accidental.

    I'm just worried that this live news feed is going to watch another explosion go off. The general public is mostly evacuated, but EMS personnel aren't going anywhere.

    Yeah, not sure when Im going to get back to Charlestown. Mass Ave is basically shut down and the highways are deadlocked. No idea on public transit.

    Bunch of coworkers took off work for the marathon, hopefully everyone is alright.

    Apparently the marathon this year was dedicated to the Newtown shooting victims. As if the situation wasn't awful enough.

    Some of the pictures I've seen don't look good. I'm guessing, unfortunately, that some of those injuries (now 28) turn into fatalities as the day progresses.

    Reports also now coming in of at least two other explosive devices found elsewhere in Boston... this was apparently very large scale
