You guys are so naive, Durbanite will be back, he can't help himself. He does this all the time, he goes back into the self loathing shadows then he gets impulsive, starts posting here, gets ripped again and goes back into hiding. I feel like next time he comes back though he should change his name to Durbanite .75, because it won't be an upgrade, its always a step back for him.

He did give this place something though, he is synonymous with being miserable and pathetic and self loathing. Saying someone is being like Durbanite is pretty much the biggest insult on here.

Oh for the love of God, not this horseshit again....

How many times are guys/gals on this board going to show off their narcissism by writing a "tearful goodbye" post before they take their ball and go home (as if ANYONE cares)? It's more than a little pathetic regardless of who does it, even more so when the "reason" is someone (Binary) being 100% correct and not even being that mean about it.

Edit: And what's with the "everyone can thank Binary" bullshit? Does he actually think we're going to bombard his (Binary's) inbox with hateful messages because of this? Get the fuck over yourself and grow the fuck up.

There is a certain irony there, people are going to thank him, just for the opposite reason he may think.

It's all binary's fault! That's why we don't have miserable things.

    I like miserable things...

I have to say, I've always liked Motley Crue, but after listening to them quite a bit lately, I think they were a much better band than I gave them credit for.

The song 'Teaser' just came on my ipod, hence the post.

Hopefully back regularly. It was nice to see a few of the MIA's come back since the board was renovated.

I might go just to say I did. Im not even a fan. There aren't many other places I suspect where so many women who've made so many bad choices in life with be together in one place than a Motley Crue Concert.

You have female prisons, and you have Mötley Crüe concerts. I would see that show too.

I love that the Epic Rap Battles of History are getting guest stars.

Ive told this story before, but I went to see Motley Crue in fucking Dayton, OH of all places, when I was in college. We had decent enough seats, but the best part was the people dancing in the aisle. Looked over and there was a decently attractive woman in her 40s, just grinding the shit out of some dude, holding onto the railing in the aisle, dropping it low until she stumbled...and her husband came and pulled her away. We cracked up. He was probably too busy watching tits on the video screens. My friend also saw a woman giving her husband/date/new friend met at the show? a handjob during Kickstart My Heart a few rows away from us. It was absolutely nuts. I can't even imagine the things they saw as actual members of the band back in the 80s. My god...

Their book The Dirt is a great read, although Neil Strauss takes author credit on it and he put pretty much no work into it. The book however has a high bullshit content in it too since they contradict their own stories in other books, but then again they were cokeheads and the one thing certain about cokeheads is that bullshit is inevitable. Lee and Sixx's drug of choice was "Zombie Dust" which is coke cut with Halcion: the brain goes to sleep, the body goes berzerk and the whole thing makes you blind with rage.

They ARE horrible people (Mick Mars not as much) but I do love their music and I'm seeing them in August in Toronto.

I just realized that the thread is not just about dads, but also grads. So I shall contribute a grad-related thing: last Thursday my daughter was in the 5th grade promotion ceremony. The music used for the processional was "Throne Room and Finale" by John Williams. It was fabulous.

I never got a 5th grade promotion ceremony, what the fuck.

Just imagine the kids who get held back, not only do they get held back but they can't attend this ceremony. Poor stupid bastards.

    Question:

Why is every single school year now marked by some sort or graduation ceremony? It's overkill.

    EDIT: What he said....kinda, sorta.

Please, like they hold kids back nowadays.

My neighbor wanted to hold her daughter back as she was struggling and a little younger for the class. The school fought her on it. She persevered and the daughter repeated the 4th grade and is doing well now. Sometimes they just need that little bit of maturity to succeed. Schools get dinged on how many kids repeat, so they really try to discourage it and instead want the students to take remedial courses or workshops to help them. Which just stresses the student, parent and teacher out. It's ridiculous.

And I'm getting so many emails about our meet coming up that it's stressing me out, so I'm ignoring them. They'll go away eventually right?

Yea totally, kinda like the steering problems on my truck. I figured if I ignored it and waited till I had the cash I'd be fine, but that didn't quite work out for me.
