It's kind of funny how every person who I know who is good at their job has a job. A few have been laid off, but were snapped up in a hurry.
Well yeah I was making a joke about the poor thing... But on the subject of unemployment, it amazes me how many people come out of college (never mind high school) without even basic people skills. Literally they cannot hold a conversation. Sure they ticked off all the boxes for that slip of paper, but they simply can't apply it to the real world or explain in any way what they learned or enjoy doing. It's sad.
The whole process of figuring out a job and what you take in school seems totally fucked up to me... it seems too many people go, "I want to do this" and then go follow that, only to find out that there are already 10x qualified people that can't find jobs. Like teachers. There are SO many unemployed teachers right now that anyone getting into teaching has got to be an idiot. Mike Rowe did a video recently that was quite interesting...
