And your family thanks you. Not only would Nett slaughter them all, he'd probably find out all their passwords too, and go all Mr. Robot and shit.

I've got nothing against it, I just personally never got into UFC. Although I did go to a big UFC get-together at a friend's house once. They made me wear an Affliction t-shirt. It was not comfortable.

Got hammered and went to the SD county fair. Good times, did a few rides, saw the piglet races which were surprisingly fun, and won a bunch of stuffed animals from the games.

Dam beer is expensive there. We spent like 50 on 4 beers.

It's hot here in Ontario right now. Like, really hot. Hotter than it was in Africa, for fuck sakes.

So what better way to beat the heat than sitting on the deck, multiple beers in hand, enjoying a jumbo Grape Mr. Freezie, while catching up on the Canadian Grand Prix?

After the coldest, greyest alleged spring ever, it's finally nice out and I celebrated by going to my friends' barbecue where I sat outside and drank and smoked and ate for twelve hours, from 4:30pm-4:30am, slept on their couch, and woke up somehow not hungover to go to a brunch with unlimited sangria for two hours. Now all I want to do is lie on my bed by the open window and be very still until tomorrow morning.

I spent most of the afternoon at the pool. This was a magical weekend where it wasn't hot as balls.

No drinks but I did munch the shit out of some chips and salsa.

I did yard work all goddamn day, and as you know she was a scorcher. My only break was taking the daughter to swim lessons. It's mojitos and about 47 Advil tablets for me.

She raked in another mint with her lemonade stand, her customers included our police ER unit (SWAT team) who were passing by. Pisses me off. Not her capitalist skills, it's the fact we can't be treated as adults in this "free society". WHY!?!? Why the FUCK can't I have a sangria stand for the grown ups? I wouldn't charge much, and you and I both know that Everyone in the neighbourhood would love it, even the ones who don't have car hydraulics. I would I.D. people and everything, it's not like I haven't worked The Industry. I know how this shit goes down.

But noooooooooo. "The Man" has to keep all the homeslices down.

Yeah... I've found that my stance on muscle pain meds has changed a bit as I've gotten older.

I used to chew Ibuprofen like candy when I was playing rugby, but only recently have I been chewing some Tylenol back and muscle after long, strenuous days, and they work quite well.

I'm not a fan of the new age medicine crap; however, I am a stout fan of what works.

    Myocalm is the shit.

I HATE muscle relaxers and the like, but this shit works for my wife and I (on amazon, at a fraction of the cost of normal meds).

This is minor: but do you actually chew them literally? Does it increase how fast they work? Does this seem gross to anyone else?

I used to gobble, not literally, ibuprofen. Since they've come out and said it's much harder on your liver than they originally thought I've cut way back. The Tylenol/aspirin combination knocks out most aches and pains for me.

I used to buy the big double pack of ibuprofen. I think 500 tablets per bottle? I had laid off that though because I was prescribed etolodac. That stuff works decent. I am wary of too many anti-inflammatories....I think they have connected long term use to increased likelihood of stroke. I'd love to avoid that.

This weekend I spent probably 10 hours doing brush removal, then I cut the grass. I took one of those 500mg etodolacs plus a muscle relaxer before bed Sat and Sun nights and it helped a lot. Plus stretching. Lots and lots of that.

I used to eat Ibuprofen like it was candy, but that all changed when I left my wife and got my own apartment in March. Right now I can't remember the last time I took any.

Just FYI, acetaminophen (Tylenol) is the one known to cause liver issues, not ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin). And, it's usually just a problem if you take Tylenol with alcohol in your system.

So, if someone has a headache, are you recommending they get an apartment or a divorce?
