Hmm maybe it was increased risk of heart attacks and stomach issues. Forgot where i heard it, I have been wrong before.
Well, in acute cases, I'd still try the Ibuprofen. With a chronic condition like mine, it was definitely the solution.
This needs to be emphasized. If you drink regularly, never take tylenol. Find some other med to take care of your fever or pain. Tylenol is brutal on the liver. When my twin was in the ICU I was talking to a nurse about this and they compared tylenols effects to taking a cheese grater on the liver if its taken in excessive amounts or in combo with alcohol.
I take pain medication very rarely, maybe 1-2 times a year and I never get headaches. My uncle was a construction worker and destroyed his liver and kidneys by popping shit every day so I am very careful about it.
Does anyone take cabs anymore? I ask because I'm getting back into MSP around 11:00pm and I had to consider how I was going to get back. I could take the light rail (decided not to, Minni gets sketchy at night), could take a ride share (don't know how many are going to be around that time of night), could take a super shuttle (in my experience they're good at picking you up to go to the airport, suck at bringing you back and I've waited over an hour for a shuttle at the airport before), maybe a cab would work? Cab seems to be the best option for me, although I went with a town car. I decided to spend a bit more and get a car because getting back in at 11, I don't want to worry about how I'm getting back, that service at that time of night is worth it to me. If it was earlier in the day I'd do ride share and not worry about it.
Are you really that afraid of black people? I only take a cab when it's more convenient than Lyft/Uber (when surge pricing is ~3x). Which is almost never. I am jealous of your light rail. I would kill to not have to drive my car 90% of the time.
Speaking of me being worried about crime, I got a -Timely Warning- from the U telling students about a robbery that happened one block from my place. Apparently at 9:00pm a guy was walking the sidewalk, was approached by a group who demanded his valuables, he said no and they hit him with a baseball bat.
So I'm going camping with my husband's family this weekend. Like extended family, not just my in-laws. They don't drink and I'm expected not to drink, and I'm having a hard time with this. Is it even really camping if there's no beer?
I still count it if weed, mushrooms or acid is available. Because any of that can or will lead to the inevitable (not to mention traditional. And necessary) "Campsite Battle Royal" where inebriated best friends attempt to murder each other for sport. This may include blindside tackling into live campfires and attempted drownings in shallow lake water.
Ahh reminds me of all the campus crime report emails from UC. We'd got so many the joke was the communication director that had his name attached wasn't a real person.
