Yes. Sorry. I think it would be funny to watch an actor who has never competed fight a BJJ black belt who's also a State and US Cup Taekwondo champ.

Rogan could actually kill him if he felt like it.

He quit competing because he thought he'd permanently hurt himself or others, and thought that was a stupid thing to risk.

He regularly rolls with the current MMA fighters, and is pretty well respected by them.

He knows his shit because he trains that shit, which is a big part of what makes him a great commentator.

    Yeah, he is no joke.

They can suck 9 cocks. I was going to get it and throw in with some friends. But not for that. I'm glad Conor will get paid and set him and his family for life but fuck $90. Ufc is lucky to get $60 from me on certain cards.

I actually subscribe (monthly) to their UFC Fight Pass which is pretty fun... as it's like getting an MMA streaming channel with all sorts of non-UFC promotions on it (like the Alaska Tough Guy stuff, etc). It streams to my Apple TV, iPad, etc., and is only like $10/month ongoing. You get a lot of the prelim fights, historical fights, UFC specials, etc., and I don't mind paying that.

That being said, I'll usually pirate the PPV's or go to the local bar to watch them, as I can't justify spending the PPV cash 99% of the time.

Ufc 214 will be worth it provided the card line up holds up.

Rogan said when talking to Bas "The high flying shit doesn't work. The best way to train is learn the stuff they teach to trained killers. That's how you want to fight."

He and Bas are my two favourite personalities and/or voices for MMA. Rogan has a true love for combat sports that not many can come close to.

Holy blast from the past!! This video pre-dates youtube, I remember seeing it first on college humor or break.com or one of those places.

Sadly, if that guy was still around doing joke videos, fox news or some place would hire him as a legit commentator.

Ari Shafir is a pretty famous comedian now. Too Jewish for Fox or Brietbart sadly.

Here's a new one. Friday our governor in Nevada declared a state of emergency.

    What horrific event has occurred?

It seems the state is low on weed.

    I wish I was joking.

Sounds like a political play to me. It was basically a move to ease the regulations regarding the sale of it. With declaring a state of emergency, more places could sell it basically because the application process has less red tape now. Marijuana had just gone on sale and there was probably a lot of backlash from the permitting process being difficult (and the resulting tax dollars arriving only in waves instead of a tsunami).

Now, whether or not the governor can get stoners motivated enough to get off their couch and vote, is another question.

Mayweather just said if McGregor wants to fight with 4 oz gloves he'll do it.

    I say there's a 99% chance he's bluffing. But it's also a not zero chance.

    If he does though....

I'm currently getting ready for a date all full of nervous but excited energy and for some GODFORESAKEN REASON the ONLY thing I can think about is that video that was posted here about the girl with Down syndrome being told what a period is. It popped into my head out of NOWHERE and I hate this place so fucking much.

I wonder if this is a result of the announcement of the cost of the PPV? I could see it being too expensive for a shits-and-giggles one-sided affair, so they might be trying to tease some more "Conor could win if..." into it.

But really, the rules of the fight would have already been drafted and signed off on by both parties, and that would include the boxing specifics, which would include glove weight, length and number of rounds, etc. No way this deal was done without everything being locked up tight first.

Yeah but if both parties agree they can always modify the rules of the fight right?

By the time this fight finally comes around, no way in hell the fight looks anything like a standard "boxing match" if I was putting money on it. My money is they (mayweather and mcgregor) see the writing on the wall with it being a one sided affair, mayweather doesn't wanna risk his perfect boxing record but they both wanna make money, so they both say fuck it and try to cash in with a fight that's a hybrid of both MMA and boxing and thus can't/won't count as a loss for either one. It'll be a sideshow and everyone will know it, and they're gonna just go full ham and make it as big as it can be.

I'd like to enter into evidence McGregor's "pinstripe" suit today:
