If we used emojis here, I would use an emoji. Sad face or something.

Not spoiling it, just make sure you watch the undercards. Some of the best fights I've ever seen. It was all just incredible. And I'd rewatch it right now.

Aaand, when I have to close one eye to post here, I'm probably too drunk. You guys are my favorite (even you Broncos fans, though to a lesser degree.)

I'm going to bed and/or reading until I fall asleep which is what happens every night.

    G'night y'all.

    Random drunk thought:

One of my former girl friends was the daughter of a WWII ace (Pilot with 5+ air combat kills). He flew a P-38, one of the most marvelous aircraft of that era:

    P38.jpg

Anyways, she had countless stories of her father, not only his WWII adventures, but also growing up with someone who had lived those adventures.

She told me he was shot down twice during the war, he was captured once after bailing out of his plane over Italy. He was held prisoner by two Germans in a hill top cabin and one of the Germans left the cabin. He grabbed a butter knife and stabbed the other German to death. About 25 years later she was 5 years old or so and having breakfast with her father. He accidentally got some jelly on his hand, flashed back to the blood all over the place when he killed that German, and freaked the hell out.

After the war, he never flew again.

I did get to see some of his gun cam footage that he smuggled back home after the war and it was amazing. Strafing air fields and trains. But the most amazing was the dog fights. The planes literally weren't more then 20 feet apart....you could clearly see the pilot of the other plane trying in vain to get his plane out of the sights of her father's plane.

    Like I said...random drunk thought.

If my wife was so cheap that dhe canceled satelite to listen to the radio I have no doubt that I would divorce her.

Yeah, they're a blast... and they are very similar to another band in the 80's that sound like them, and opened for Aerosmith, and I can't remember who the hell it was. The video I remember had the dude in a long coat singing at a piano with tons of candles... this is going to bug me for a while.

We played "Shake me" before they kind of took the Aerosmith clone route. Don't Know What You've Got ...I would've swore that was Aerosmith when it came out.

Shake me was fun to play. We didn't sound as good I'm sure, but we probably looked equally as stupid in retrospect.

Good to see that good grammar and clear expression don't suffer due to alcohol consumption that may or may not have occurred.

Oh it occurred, I just backspace and fix the things I misspell. I actually feel all right this morning though, somehow.

I went to the Reds -Dodgers game last night. John Travolta was there too. I feel like I need a shower now.

I'm too old for day drinking when it continues into night drinking. Generally when I drink it's just one or two drinks, so maybe a buzz if I'm lucky. I definitely got carried away last night.

When the hell did a case and a half of beer become too much ? We had a shit load of people here for a party and I have a complete case of Labatts left. If I knew this was gonna happen I'd have gotten the Sam Adams Octoberfest instead.

We're all late thirties, early forties. It's usually the correct amount but hot as it was yesterday no one felt like drinking apparently. I'll chip away at it though.
