When we canceled our satellite we were paying like $150 a month or something ridiculous. We had passed the two year contract and they wouldn't cut us a deal, I called and tried before I canceled. In fact, I figured up how much it would cost to purchase an entire season of every show we had stayed current on on iTunes and it was still cheaper than what we were paying a year for satellite. Of course, we don't purchase many season passes of shows at all since most of them we can stay current with on Hulu, but we could and still come out ahead if we wanted. We live in a super-rural area (that's an actual term we use at work, so it's legit) and the only option is satellite, no cable, so i'd much rather spend $30ish a month on Netflix/Hulu/Amazon than $75+ on DirecTV or DISH.
The fact that you never took to the Broncos is a good sign. I no longer question your mental stability. (I may or may not hate the Broncos because of my allegiance to the Chiefs. I still love you Pimptress.)
I'll have you know, that someone besides me encouraged a boobie post just a few pages ago. Plus, I know you won't do it, so I won't get my hopes up. (Chiefs are up by three.)
I feel like you're trying to reverse-psychologize me and I don't appreciate it. And I'm well aware of the score. I may not be able to watch but I can still listen.
Everyone should hate the Broncos. That's just the truth. I was going to post a video of my reaction to Facebook suggesting that I like the Denver Broncos but apparently I'm not smart enough to post it from my phone. It may be the best snap I've ever snapped. (I'm still pretty sure I'm too old to snapchat.)
I like the Broncos. And, it's important that old people use the kids toys, to make them demand something new, and keep the tech pushing forward.
I'm still trying to get used to them being in the NFC. Teams changing leagues pisses me off. The Brewers should be an AL team (BTW....did you know that franchise was a Seattle team? The Seattle Pilots in '69 & '70. Then they moved to Milwaukee.) and the Astros should be an NL team.
Yep. The Falcons have always been my first team, but I've liked the Broncos since I was a kid. And that was like 35 years ago. Sorry, babe. I guess we're breaking up.
When I was a kid I lived in the Bay Area for a couple of years, which is where I first developed an interest in sports at 8 or so. I was a die hard A's/Raiders fan even when I moved to Idaho. Then the Seahawks & Mariners came into existence and I had a "Local" team to root for again.
I'm a die hard Broncos fan, thank you very much. Tonight, in VI's lost hits, I give you a classic: I did this song in a band several years ago, and I arranged it for two guitars instead of a keyboard. It sounded awesome on guitar.
Ah, the Raiders, my first football nemesis, followed shortly by the Chargers. Now, obviously, it's the Broncos. I've been a Chiefs fan my entire life since I'm from Missouri. Yes, the Rams used to be located in St. Louis, but no self-respecting Missouri sports fan liked the Rams. In fact, the first and only dollar I made from betting on football was from the year the Rams played against the Patriots in the Super Bowl (2001?) I bet against them, and I won. That was my freshman year of high school. I wish I still had that actual dollar because it still makes me laugh that the loser of the bet tore that dollar as much as he could while still keeping it in one piece. Talk about a sore loser.
