If I were to sell, with the market the way it is, I would keep the walls a neutral color and make sure the carpet is clean. People are more likely to bid higher than the asking price because they are going so fast. If a house needs modest improvements, let them take care of it the way they want. If the pickings are slim, they won't gripe over a couple grand. Because someone else will just buy it.
Brandon Prust may be the single best locker room guy in the NHL...And a total badass. And lets not forget how filthy his mitts can be.
That's also true. But I'm seeing that "modest improvements" means something different to many people.
Hope you have $400 - 450k to spend. I lived there for two years and my 950 sq ft one bedroom 3rd floor walk up was $1550/month. That place is a bedroom community for both DC and Baltimore.
I was talking with him about a year ago, both of us pretty bombed I think it was my birthday and I was laughing about how shitfaced he USED to get when he played for the Knights here in town at the college bars down the street. I was surprised at his size, he's not a huge guy at all. Then, my friend El Nino walks up and he's pretty loaded... EL Nino: (to me) Did you make a new boyfriend here, Thunderlips? Me: No, you don't recognize him? El Ninosizing up Prust) What, do ya you play in the fuckin' NFL or something, kid? (I burst out laughing) Prust: No, I play with... El Nino: (interrupting) If you ain't in football I go no time for ya, kid. There's only Eagles buzzin' around inside this head. You're just a dude in a lumberjack coat. (walks away to the bar) Prust laughed his ass off of course, because he's a nice guy and knows a factious drunk when he sees one.
The food is all packed up and el husband is gone. We have been talking and if we end up staying here another year (oh joy), he suggested that I maybe go back to school. This scares the everloving shit out of me. My degree is biology and though I seriously loved my classes, I haven't been able to find work, and I am afraid of spending my own money on another degree that fails to help me. We talked about safe things (accounting) and dream things (I have always wanted to open an eatery but everybody knows how risky that is so I never seriously considered it). Sorry, I know y'all care less than zero about my personal life but I haven't spoken to my family about it because we still aren't even sure if this will happen so I am waiting, and I'm about to explode. Here is a boob for making it through my dull post. Spoiler
Back to the bacon talk, it's my second favorite day of the year: Meatfest Eve! Starting at 3am, myself and a few others will fire up the smokers for an all day barbecue, where we will smoke approximately a little over 300 lbs of various cuts of many different animals. PETA is slowly moving us up towards the top of their most hated list and many of the local farms now have a shortage of livestock. This is my current state of my backyard, with an additional smoke to still be added in the morning.
Re: Re: 9/13/13 WDT NSFW We walked into one bedroom that had an old guy sleeping in it. Quickly turned around and walked out. The other owners were there, you think they would have warned us or something. I don't know if it was their dad or what. Does anyone else notice that Shegirl keeps getting taller every time someone mentions her height?
Some of the retro décor you find in home shopping- especially basements can be hilariously and stunningly tacky. This one basement in a house we looked at was side-splitting. Every wall was faux foam rock, jagged and cumbersome matched with two-inch-pile shag carpeting my GOD a Brazilian pimp wouldn't be caught dead getting a rim-job in it. It made Graceland look like the clean room of a burn ward. How can you not do something with that? It was Clown Car Hell. I don't know how the owner kept a straight face. Maybe he was agoraphobic and never left the house. My favourite moment ever is when the owner of a house jumped out and scared us. I have no idea why, if you're trying to sell your home would you scare the piss out of the potential new tenants?
Do pro football fans travel like college? The bars here had quite a few opposing fans. I get that a west coast fan won't go east coast, but does Philadelphia get run over by Jets fans?
