That's not terribly far from the truth. These assholes are no more than 10 feet from me stinking up the damn place: Spoiler: big picture
You can always tell if it's a Canadian 80's video. Japan-level cheesiness combined with FX straight out of your local news station. Still loved Suite, though. Great bunch of guys to hang out with.
What the fuck do they feed people in Norway? That whole band looks like their still in their 20s and still hitting that high note.
Actually, they have something like 9 or 10 albums, and if you take the time to listen, a lot of good songs. Here they are in 2015. Lead singer is now 57. I hope I look half as good pushing 60.
Speaking of the eighties and of mythical creatures, Corey Feldman was sighted on the Today Show doing god knows what.
That was like watching someone who is really into karaoke... like, so much so that they have their own machine and lights in their basement... but that you are glad isn't your friend dragging you to local karaoke nights. And to think this is a DOUBLE album that's been 10 years in the making. I'm just surprised that the Lost Boys generation is still a powerful enough demographic to feed the Corey machine...
That awkward moment Facebook suggests you friend your brother's freshman Spanish teacher. Who also happens to be a guy you made out with and almost hooked up with nearly 20 years ago. No thank you Facebook.
Ok, a bit of a different spin on VI's Saturday Night Lost Hits. A few weeks ago I posted this: Now we have a lot of musicians on the board. I was in Five Guys tonight, and this song was playing. The first weird thing is I've never heard the song. Second, I thought it was 'Jane' but an alternate version. What say you guys? Same song?
That's why I said it was the weird thing, this is completely up my alley, and my wife has heard it many times, but I never did. I think we're the same age.
Well, they are Canadian, so that could have a lot to do with it. We have weird Canadian Content rules where a percentage of songs played on radio or our version of MTV have to be Canadian, so that really helped it get tons of airplay up here.
I miss when the drunk thread was all otters and not endless dad rock https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1536019343363119
That whole album made girls wet. If you wanted to get laid in the 80's you made sure that album was playing. That said, it's a pretty good album and Aldo played every single instrument. That's impressive.
