    We had a bit of a wind storm come through last night... joys of living in the mountains and having huge temperature swings. (20°C change overnight).

    Needless to say I was woken up at 7am by the cat with a freaked out "WTF?" look on his face... apparently Shop Cat doesn't mind routers and saws and planers and stuff, but gets seriously wigged out over industrial sized wood chippers working across the street. He spent a solid hour not leaving my side at all... which was interesting behaviour considering he's always so aloof and independent.

    Luckily, a huge branch fell between the houses and there was no damage, but according to the neighbour it made a huge noise that woke them up at 3am.

    They've been working on it for 5 hours now, slowly trimming all the branches and giving them the Fargo treatment.
