I say that as a former nice kid who let asshole kids walk all over her for years. I didn't tell my parents shit, so who knows what they would've told me. I had to grow a spine as an adult, which sucked. It would have been nice to have learned how to politely tell people to take a hike earlier on. Point is: there will always be someone who pulls this shit whether it's a kid at school, co-worker, MIL. You aren't always going to be there to handle it.

1)I always thought that look was ridiculous. The car below was beautiful when it rolled off the lot. Now it has Down syndrome.
