It's not like it was a new rule or anything. Whatever I do do, I sure as shit am not doing in on anyones Birthday. I'm a bitch, but not that big of one....well ok fine, let's just say I reserve that level of bitch for the special people out there. FYI, her rep was cut in half.
Meh, it's just sad that the genius Sidney Lumet didn't get more love and discussion from this board. Think about how many times more posts were devoted to a stupid viral video like "Friday" than the 51 year directing career of the guy who did Network, 12 Angry Men, Dog Day Afternoon, Serpico, etc. And then people bitch and complain about the media being oversaturated with irrelevant news about Paris Hilton, Charlie Sheen, Linsday Lohan, etc. On an unrelated note, I had no clue what this "Game of Threads" graphic was on some topics until about 15 minutes ago.
I think everyone's trying to say that if you put half as much effort into creating interesting threads as you obviously do into ruining them, this discussion wouldn't be happening.
Did I miss the memo where we all hate Kimmy? To me, it's kinda nice to have someone who'll always give a dissenting opinion loud and proud. He always adds a perspective, sometimes it's a dumb one, but so what? He doesn't insult for the sake of insulting. He always has reasons and is able to articulate them. Since he got "Sad Trombone" how about deleting anything he posts for a week (or month or whatever) that isn't 100% positive, supportive and uplifting. Punishment fits the crime, right? (For the record, I loved Sidney Lumet. Don't know that there's a better book about film-making than his. But even I had nothing to contribute to a Sidney Lumet thread.)
