    I have been taking ibuprofen for two years, since that wreck I was in where I broke my collarbone and ribs. It doesn't seem to work anymore. My doc suggested not taking it for a few weeks, so as to lower my tolerance.

    Well that sucks. I swear it is my go to cure all, taken in lieue of even narcotics. I get the pain pill itches so it is never worth it to me. The day I tear up the stomach or ruin my
    kidneys with advil will be a very sad day indeed. I had never considered it could also simply stop working.

    I am at the gym currently lounging poolside, but plan to change that later today. Operation Shimmered Ass to be implemented. I'll probably be crying the blues right along with you tomorrow. Funny how she has inspired us all. Thanks Shimmered!

    There's a 70" LED TV at Best Buy for three grand that would look awsome in my basement. That's 24 more inches than I have right now. I'm hesitant because it's a Sharp, and well, it's three grand. But still, 70 inches...

    I think the other reason people discount it is that the dosing on the box is not the real dosing. "Do not exceed 1200 mg per day except on the advice of a physician", but if you look in my fancy-pants drug references, it mentions you can go up to 1800-2400 mg per day. And depending on who you talk to, the real anti-inflammatory properties don't kick in until you get to the higher dose range.

    I once took that much of my own accord for a few days. When I told the doc, she got scared shitless and immediately gave me a script for pantoprazole to save my stomach lining. Strange, that.

    If it were me I'd just try a different NSAID like arthrotec or celebrex before sitting around and waiting a few weeks and then seeing if advil worked again. But that's just me.

    On that note, tips for shapely legs other than the squats and lunges? I have been "blessed" with curves including some sturdy thighs that I would love to trim down a bit. What gives you the quickest/best results? I know I'll never have model toothpick legs, but just in getting them the best possible for my body shape.

    Shoot, I don't even bother unless it is 4 at a time (800 mg), and it hasn't hurt my tummy yet. My medical advice is doing that ever 8 hr RTC so 2400 per day. My docs are big on the
    prescription ones, but I think ibuprofen is just as effective and most already have it in their cabinets at home.
