Ok, I'm gonna try and explain the stripper vs. other sex industry jobs thing: I don't look down on porn actors and prostitutes. I would not be able to do that sort of thing because I'm afraid of getting a disease or pregnant and that gives me what my roommate tells me is called "performance anxiety." She also says to tell you it's because I'm undereducated on the precautions taken in the industry I am in NO WAY saying that porn actors and prostitutes all have diseases because I know they wouldn't be doing the job if that sort of thing happens. As for the sorority comment, I don't know where you work, but in the world I live in, getting a group of women together usually means bitches and caddiness.
Do you know exactly what your mother did with every decade of her life? I don't. I just know that my mom was 29 when she had me. Umm... anyway. I plan on telling my kids I graduated from dance school and then met their father. It's the same thing I plan on telling my parents.
Are you kidding? Everyone knows that ISEs and code monkey are morons and basement dwelling losers respectively.
Not every plan works out. But lets say, in general, that when a stripper moves on from stripping, what would get put on a resume or job application for work history?
I imagine you don't. You make other plans. Or you say you just got a divorce and you were a trophy wife for the last 10 years or something.
