The Interview just hit all the torrent sites. Cue the "it was so bad Best Korea was doing us a favour" comments.
It's also available at a dedicated website I'm just gonna wait until it comes out on dvd though, or one of the major theaters near me decides to show it.
They had a few movies leaked but I didn't read anything saying The Interview was one of them. It just would have been better if Rogan did it after seeing the small amount of theaters it would actually be viewed in.
Only reason it hit the torrent sites is because it's available on Google play for purchase. So some generous person put it out there and now I get to watch a mediocre movie for free. Merica. Didn't think that through did you Lil Kim?
It's available on YouTube now, at least it was last night. Whatever, I'd watch it just because I fucking love Lizzy Caplan. Girl deserves better fame than she has and dat body tho.
I just watched it. It was pretty funny. Franco's acting was way too over the top which was distracting. Someone should've reminded him that this is a movie, not a fucking SNL skit. I also think they could've cast someone who looks a lot more like Kim Jong Un. Randall Park just looks too... manly. And yes, Lizzy Caplan is fucking hot.
So I saw The Interview on Cytube last night. Holy. Shit. It was hilarious. From start to finish, it just kicked ass. Quotes were hilarious, physical comedy was hilarious. There was a Spoiler Ridiculous amount of violence, including a finger-biting scene and Spoiler Kim Jong Un lighting up like a "Firework"
I read somewhere Seth Rogen admitted Park was the only one who tried out for the part. They should have tried to get Psy.
So I got around to seeing this. It wasn't too bad. Seth Rogan and James Franco have good chemistry. I'd say it's worth checking out. Laughed enough times and never got bored. And yes, Lizzy Caplan. God damn.
I, too, enjoyed it. It was a 6-7/10, I'd say, but I was also coming down off of a solid week of overtime and was on my way to drinking myself to sleep... so take that for what you will.
I watched this on Christmas Eve. I love the idea of being able to watch it at home the day it comes out instead of in the theater. The good: It had some funny one liners Honey Dicking Poop jokes The final battle sequence The bad: The guy that played Kim Jong Un It was a half hour too long Pop culture references I really think the pop culture references will keep this from becoming a classic. Imagine if the plot line of Dumb and Dumber was based around an Ace of Base song and you will know what I mean.
About to watch this tonight, got some friends coming over, gonna get some drinks in us first to set the tone. Pretty excited.
Might I suggest the American Flag shot. They're easy to make (layer grenadine, vodka, and blue curacao), tasty, and look like the kinda drink North Korea would prevent its people from knowing about:
Or you could use Sourpuss and have alcohol in all of your layers. Or is the third of High Fructose Corn Syrup and Red Dye 40 more American?
