Maybe but oil is the only American interest we have in the region. Let the Chinese deal with them, as they are making a major push into Africa anyway.

Yes, there are a lot of criticizers among those who claim to be religious. But, many people don't take that to mean "you are not allowed to judge others," but rather, "remember when judging others, you are also judged." Which is really a way of saying treat others the way you expected to be treated, rather than the converse that you will be treated how you treat others. (Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us - i.e. don't forgive? Then don't expect to be forgiven.)

The second half of that is the same as the intent of the (incorrect) first part. Despite what Pink Floyd tried to tell us, since we're quoting the Bible now, the actual verse isn't "money is the root of all evil," it's "The love of money is the root of all evil."

I just cancelled my NRA membership. Fucking idiots.

Tennessee had introduced a bill called MaKayla's Law after the little girl that was shot by an 11 year old who got a hold of his father's gun last year. The NRA opposed the law.

"National Rifle Association lobbyist Erin Luper told the same Senate committee that her organization opposed the bill because it's a gun owner's responsibility to safely store guns and the state shouldn't impose criminal consequences on them."

    Bull. Fucking. Shit.

Who in their right mind would side with this cunt? Are people seriously this dumb in Tennesee?

You did a good thing. Every NRA member alive should quit after reading that.

The NRA has become a joke. It seems like their leadership isn't so much pro rights anymore as they are pro conspiracy. Oh, if we let them pass anything they'll take all our guns, and then the Nazis will execute us.

I wonder if these European countries are going to put boots on the ground in Syria at some point if these attacks keep happening. I would kind of like to see that happen. Let them take a leading role for once and then see what they say when shit doesn't go perfectly.

Wasn't Obama preaching how there was a 65 nation coalition dedicated to defeating the threat about a year ago? Where's that coalition?

Dear God. Talk about the wrong fucking answer.

"Ted Cruz on Tuesday called for law enforcement to step up their policing of Muslim neighborhoods in the U.S. in the wake of terrorist attacks in Brussels, comparing it to police boosting their presence in areas with known gang activity."

The Republican party seems bound and determined to destroy itself. This election should've been a cake walk after 8 years of Obama, but no....

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/22/politics/ted-cruz-muslim-neighborhoods/index.html

By comparison to this bat shit crazy proposal, Trump sounds like the voice of reason.

I can't remember despising a candidate more than Cruz. For all his bluster, pandering, and showmanship, I think Trump would take the position of POTUS more seriously than Cruz.

That's pretty much what I think. The guy is an egomaniac and as an egomaniac he is concerned about his legacy and how people will think about him in the future. I honestly think as POTUS he would turn down the volume of his act, and yes I think it's an act, and actually try to do what's best for the country. I think he will do what he's said and attempt to enforce our immigration laws and maybe even build his wall. He'll at least try.

Cruz? He just doesn't give a fuck, he'll just say whatever he thinks will get him votes. Same with Hillary. The pandering between those two is off the charts.

And then there's Bernie. I've seen his tax plan and he wants to take $350 a month directly out of my pocket to fund his bullshit programs. Hell no.

We don't have much choice in this election...a communist, an Evangelical liar, a criminal who may be indicted at any moment, or a megalomaniac.

    I need a beer.

It's a stupid asshole contest and they tied for first. Cruz I hate more, but they won't mature or grow a brain in six months from now.

Trump just deleted this tweet, but he forgets how the Internet is forever:

If you missed it, Cruz supporters started an ad yesterday in Utah (MORMON Utah) attacking Trump's wife, who was previously a model in Europe.

I'd be pretty pissed off too if someone started attacking my family for something that has absolutely nothing to do with the election just to pander to the religiously uptight majority.

I would be pissed too, but I'm not running for President. Evidently neither are these two fucktards, who are using kiddie playground tactics on each other. April 1st is soon, is that when they reveal this was all a big joke?

Apparently I can't add an image to a post, so here's the ad Cruz supporters ran:

Well, that just gained Trump a bunch of voters. Especially those thinking, "MY first lady? Right on."

Probably nothing. I'm guessing it's just that she works for Goldman Sachs with wall street regulation being such a big issue this election.

Ted Cruz is just a complete scumbag. I don't know how he gets votes, but I'm glad it looks like his chances of winning are practically non-existent.

One of his big issues on his site is 'restore the constitution' because it apparently no longer functions or something. Then under that he brags about his support for a ten commandments monument on public grounds because that's totally what the constitution is there for. Restore the constitution by putting more religion in politics. Yeah, what a fucking hero. That sadly, is one of the least offensive examples of his jackass policies.

I know that it is inappropriate to place blame on the radical Muslims but what is the actual ratio between attacks by Evangelical Christians on innocent civilians and the attacks by Radical Muslims? I hate to blame one group of people or one religion but when the shoe fits you have to wear it. Yes the Christian right isn't great but they don't tend to blow themselves up in subway stations or airports. Stereotypes may exist for a reason.

its hard to pinpoint "official" statistics, but as far as attacks DIRECTLY and without debate linked to Islam, in 2016 there have been a minimum of 21 attacks in almost as many countries resulting in the death of around 400 people. High estimates put the death toll at over 1100 people. I doubt Christian attacks are a fraction of that.
