It just goes to show you how dangerous it is to fly that close to the sun. Even for dangerous faggots.

The part that got me was when one host went to interrupt and rebut Milo and the other sort of shut him up, implicitly saying "no, no, let him hang himself, we're going to get so many clicks for this shit."

Milo thought he was getting too big to fail. When he was booted off twitter, he used it as his rallying cry that he was essentially winning. And all his followers ate it up.

He used to give somewhat thoughtful and nuanced debate on gender issues and other types of social commentary, but then he just became a caricature of himself and went over the top. And now he's being exposed for the fraud he has become.

The guy is more actor than pundit. He's good at pushing people's buttons, but that's all he's good for. Other than that writes for The Right's version of Salon (a tabloid).

He was not cut out for more than 15 minutes. Just like most internet pseudo-celebrities. Do your prepared material for your followers and stop thinking you can win debates against anyone other than dipshit SJWs and man-haters.

That moment when the former Intel guy asked "Wait, are you even American?" and then laughed and said "fuck off" when Milo told him he wasn't.

Half his schtick is being a professional troll. The other half is writing sleazy articles. I've always found the massive protests against him ridiculous, but I'm also not sure what it is that his rabid followers love about him so much.

I'm a casual fan of one of the shows the pedophile stuff came up on. I remember watching it when it came out and most people didn't have much of a reaction. Some of the stuff he said was questionable, mainly that he was talking positively about a sexual relationship he had with a priest when he was 13. In the same interview he also said the consent laws should be there, but he was kind of speaking positively about teenager/adult sex in a more general way.

His explanation for all this was that joking about it was a coping mechanism. The interview goes a bit beyond what just looks like joking.

The timing of this is really odd and I think if Breitbart fires him it's that everyone there is sick of him acting like an ass, and this is the excuse they need. I'm sure someone else will pick up the book deal since it has so many preorders.

I liked what he originally stood for and did... he basically was one of a few people who loudly and brashly pushed back against the "SJWs" and overly-PC types that were sanctimoniously condescending in their moral beliefs. I liked the controversy he brought to the college/university speaking circuit, exposing their hypocrisy and the whole "safe spaces that protect me from what I don't want to hear" bullshit.

But he then started to believe his own marketing, and became contrarian by default and reflex.

Too bad, really... but yeah, he crossed a couple of lines and is now paying the price.

I wouldn't be surprised if his book deal goes ahead, albeit with another publisher. There's money to be made in controversy.

This is some of the best marketing he could ever hope for. He is now even more widely known and widely followed than before. I would expect that he will be back to his usual speaking engagement antics before too long as well. If Donald Trump proves anything, it is that the audiences to hear Milo speak are going to grow even larger now. There is no limit to the appetite for his rhetoric from the people revolted by the SJW, BLM, etc.

He got fired from a racist website for being pedofile. I think everyone has their limits. You will hear less and less from him because of those limits.

But why? What makes someone say to themselves "I really hate these liberal types, I'm going to spend my time and money listening to an obnoxious asshole who thinks it's ok to fuck kids."

I'm pretty sure from what I have read about this guy, he was making some pretty shitty jokes about pedophilia and even allegedly come forward as a victim of it, has he not? I haven't seen anywhere that it has been shown that he is a pedophile, has there?

People will look past this the same way HBO keeps an obnoxious woman around who molests their kinfolk. People on the other side will look past this too, everyone has to have a person at the head of their echo chamber who will keep ranting to the people who agree with them. This isn't really anything new.

After wreaking their havoc on law and order in Chicago, the ACLU now has Portland, OR in their sights.

Portland, OR – The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has now demanded that the Portland Police Department stop using riot gear in response to protests and potential riots.

Why don't they also demand that "Protesters" not cover their faces, stop carrying weapons, and quit throwing shit at the officers?

Did you actually go to the original news story or did you just decide to let a blog that is obviously more biased than a conjoined donkey do your thinking for you?

Because here is what the ACLU actually said.

That doesn't warrant the word demand. And in the video they say that the ACLU agrees that protesters should not be breaking the law including blocking traffic. None of this is worth your jimmies getting in such a bunch.

Are you not familiar with the ACLU? Their "Requests" are swiftly followed with threats of litigation if you do not do as they request. I'd say it's a demand given their history and since neither of us has provided a clear, non biased source of what was said.

Lol wut? I provided a source of what was exactly said by the ACLU in the form of the original non-biased news article that your bluelivesmatter.blue writer named Cowgirl was so enraged about, and any reasonable person can see that they were in no way, shape, or form making a "demand," or even close to threatening legal action.

All this amounts to you is looking for an excuse to criticize the ACLU and protesters. You got sucked into outrage by a bullshit blog post and felt compelled to rant about it, once again turning this into the "Random Meaningless Rants by toytoy" thread.

So it's the cops fault for showing up to a highly volatile situation with protection? Sorry, but this is nothing but aim chair quarterbacking from people with wishy washy nonsensical solutions for how they wish the world worked, where the citizenry is always innocent and anyone who fits their bad guy zeitgeist is to blame. Lazily blaming the people who keep order for people who have no desire to do so isn't a realistic answer to anything. I don't care whether they requested or demanded it. This is fucktarded SJW arbitrary standards at its worst.
