Yep, and not many Hollywood-types are in it do anything other than make money. Kudos to the Netflix execs who made the decision to do the right thing as early and publicly as they did... the senior execs were on-set within a day or two, provided professional help, massive outpouring of support... easier said than done, even if you are making billions a year.
Sounds about right. I know where that area is, know a lot of people in surrounding towns, wouldn’t surprise me at all if someone I know was at the church when it occurred. See, San Antonio is so spread out, it basically swallows up all of these towns around it and people who live in those places consider themselves San Antonians. They work and socialize in the city and just live in one of those off-shoot towns. Where I live is a similar distance away, but on the north side. But you know people all around the city. Just kinda the way it is. SA is a really big, small town.
So that church puts every service online. Wouldn’t surprise me if there’s video of this shooting. That’s one of their videos. The place is crazy small. Fucker could have literally just stood at the door and shot everyone inside, easily.
Early rumors are it was a guy mad at his family. Killed his family first, then started on everyone else. Then again, we all know how accurate these early reports are.
Local news now reporting that about half the congregation was killed, which means that nearly everyone was either killed or injured.
Identity of the shooter confirmed: 26 years old Dishonorably discharged from USAF in 2014 Had a relative (mother-in-law) who lived in the town The DD makes it an interesting question how he got the gun. I am under the impression that a DD prevents you from owning a firearm.
Private sale most likely, a DD or a felony charge means fuck all in this country, anyone can sell a firearm to anyone at anytime.
Reports coming now that the fucker stopped shooting and fled the scene when someone inside the church returned fire. I’m sure the media will be in a rush to report this aspect of the story.
Unless you are the one who saw/returned fire I’m guessing the media did rush to report it. Since it hasn’t been 12 hours yet ... aren’t all reports rushed?
It was a guy that lived across the street that engaged him. He may or may not have fired the kill shot.
Oh, Tomi. You will always be every bit as big of a bimbo as you fucking look. Never change. If Americans feel the need to be embarrassed about something, feel embarrassed that people like her become famous.
Seems par for the course. Domestic violence seems to be a really common factor that a lot of these shooters share. Yup, there it is. http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/06/us/texas-church-shooting/index.html
Can’t they say the reason for the shooting is “That he was a complete piece of shit”? That seems like the most honest explanation. He abused his family, murdered his family, and then tried to exterminate his wife’s family by killing everyone he sees. Pathological evil.
So the latest spin on social media is that this was an atheist targeting Christians. And it took an armed NRA member to stop him. -Twitter Sucks Reason 723,510
I mean, I think that goes without saying he's an evil piece of shit. But that really doesn't tell us much. If, given the circumstances of the investigation that's going to follow, it's reasonable to say he had some grievance against his family that could tell us something useful. Simply throwing up our hands and saying, 'welp, he's evil, nothing can be done about that' doesn't accomplish anything meaningful.
