    Super few details, a single accusation made Monday. With Rose it was multiple women claiming he pranced his wrinkly naked body around and so on. Im curious if this will turn out to be NBC overreacting to the bandwagon nature of the current climate or if Lauer has similar skeletons in his closet.

    I wasnt surprised by this one at all. I think NBC has been itching to get rid of Matt Lauer for a while now, and this was just the excuse they needed. Rumor is hes an insane egomaniac and a general shit head. There was that drama over him pushing out Ann Curry which pissed off women viewers. Sexual harassment wont do him any favors with that demographic.

    I suspect he had a pattern that was an open secret. By reacting quickly, NBC gets to make it seem like a single incident AND gets to play the "zero tolerance" card. (This is just based on chatter and speculation, but in my experience media people are extremely chatty and word gets around about stuff like this.)
