Drunk or not, she essentially threatened to abuse the power of her office to cause him harm at the hands of Police. That's what any decent lawyer would argue and I'm sure her boss knew that. Let him smirk, he did his jurisdiction a favor.
He propositioned Oprah for sex. She asked him if he slept with 4000 women, he asked her if she wanted to be 4001. Live, and on her show with his tongue out. I saw it. Somebody like Gene Simmons is too big to fail when it comes to something like this. He and Paul Stanley are both shameless sexual libertines and they have marketed themselves that way. Accuse them of sexual harassment and the answer will be “Umm, yeah, so what else is new?”
I find it hard to believe that a shameless wretch like Simmons wouldn't try to cop a feel of a tity if it was indeed Ms Grad.
I’ve met him more than once. He blatantly hits on every single woman within earshot. ALL of them. He doesn’t drink, smoke, swear, none of that. Sex is his 100% Vice. And yes, he’s shameless.
Is that what happened? I thought Adam fired her because she wasn’t jiving well. DAG stopped appearing because he would come on and Adam would have him do the Teddy Pendergrass bit over and over. I haven’t listened to the podcast in over a year now. It just got too repetitive and stopped being funny. Either way, nothing will happen to Simmons. He’s too old to give a shit.
She initially got canned in a quiet way, and it was quite an abrupt surprise to the audience, and was asked about enough that Adam did a 20 minute explanation on it. Basically, he said that it was a cumulative effect... he wants the people on the show to actively contribute to the content, not just coast off of his work. He'd asked many times for content for live shows, or the daily show, wanting everyone to work on bringing something new or fresh to the show, and while Bald Brian did so, she did not... and would show up and basically just agree with what he said, not provide anything new. She just showed up and read the news. After the umpteenth time of asking for some sort of creative input, and not getting any, he did some end-of-year introspection of the show, and said, "enough's enough, time for a change", and let her go over the XMas break. When they came back for the first show of the new year, it was announced that she'd left the show, and they carried on while starting the search for someone new. Meanwhile, Bald was doing improv shows, and was continually upping his game and being more and more involved with the show. Between the tumor shrinking and his improv shows, he's become a very, very funny part of the show... his one-liners and quick quips are fucking hilarious. Once Gina came on board, you could tell that there was a much better vibe, and she was much more active in bringing content to the show than Teresa, she was much more engaging with Adam and Bald, and the show really does have a much better chemistry as a result. So yeah... right call, in my opinion.
Yeah probably. The best part was the fanboys that threatened to leave ACS forever and listen to her podcast. When i was still into it I gave it a try. Its pretty awful.
I think Adam felt that she was just in it to build her podcast with the minimal work required for ACS, and figured “fuck that, good luck and have fun.” She definitely thought her podcast was way better than it really was.
Now this is interesting....I thought liberals were all for the environment and trees? Guess not. City officials commit to removing 'racist' trees from golf course in Palm Springs All I can say, having worked in glass for 10 years, is it won't be long before those residents are clamoring for the trees to be put back. Their cars and homes are going to start taking a beating from little white balls, which will probably be another racist issue.
Pool is a racist sport too, dude. Look at how they allow the white ball to control all of those coloured balls.
I think they have a fair case here. This isnt about their feelings being hurt. If that is in fact why the the tree grove was planted and its keeping their property value down, then the trees should be removed.
I don't think the trees are the only thing keeping their property values down. This picture has me wondering if they actually have building codes in Palm Springs.
So what? That doesnt mean they dont have a right property appreciation that everyone else does. And looking at that particular street on Google Earth, its not some run down hood. But that shouldnt make a difference anyway.
Netting around golf courses has a funny way of not looking shitty and still being effective at keeping golf balls away.
Netting around golf courses say “This is where you golf when you can’t afford a decent round” or “Large Buckets $7.50 Small $5.00”.
