Trump is the obvious comparison, but when he slipped in that "football coach" I was reminded that Alabama literally elected a college football coach as Senator.

California has no room to talk.

I think nearly every president since has been dumber, the only exception, Obama.

You’ve had plenty of bimbos who either have been in the Whitehouse or wanted to be in it. Ford, Regan, Quayle, W. Bush, Palin, Trump, Pence and Biden are ALL bimbos. Harris isn’t a bimbo but she’s just straight-up fucking awful. Cheney tutored the Antichrist.

They'll go after the gun he used. Race and religion isn't important in this one, in the Atlanta tragedy it was all that mattered. It's become quite predictable.

If it was an AR-15, they’ve seem to have already been going after it plenty. After all, it’s bullets specifically target poor people or children when fired, and can bend around corners.

The thing about AR15’s is that they generally have a low cost of entry. You can get a fully operational ready to go gun for like $500-600. There’s a million manufacturers for them. They are easy to use and have very little recoil. Tons of accessories. And they are fun to shoot. But the fact that they aren’t cost prohibitive is in my opinion, the reason everyone has one. You don’t see mass shootings with a fully original M1 Garand. Nobody runs into a Kroger with a Dan Wesson 1911.

Good grief, the way in which your mind operates is a fucking world wonder.

I'd rather show people my penis than my guns. At least I know they are less likely to break into my house to steal my penis.

To be fair, an AR-15 is more useful than his penis.

His, not mine.....Mine is versatile as fuck.

Seriously, I'm not saying this is an unsolvable issue, but I cannot see how more gun control in a country that has hundreds of millions of guns already prevents shootings. I am tired as hell of this cycle, and fucking livid at the political outrage being spun up so the gun manufacturers can prey on people's fear of impending bans and drive up their prices. If it wasn't an AR-15, it would have been something else (AK's aren't hard to find, and in terms of firepower, there are plenty of guns capable of killing 10 people). If I heard gunfire at the mall, or wherever, it's not like I'd have less to worry about if it's an M-1 (it might actually be worse).

Part of me would find it hilarious if the manufacturers changed the name from the dreaded "AR-15" to something more palatable to the less conservative folks, like "BLM-21" or "BIDEN .224". It's trolling, but it'd be funny.

Maybe we do the hard work of making a society that doesn't make some folks want to murder dozens of random strangers? Judging by the dialog, we seem intent on doing the opposite.

A gang of people going around breaking into citizen’s homes at night to steal their dicks makes me want to buy an AR-15.

This is what I was getting at. It seems fruitless to discuss or control the tools of destruction if we don't want to put the effort (considerably harder work, as you say) into figuring why people want to destroy anyway.

If we get rid of a certain gun, they'll use another gun. If we get rid of all guns, they'll use a bomb or a knife or a car . . . But, if we get rid of the "why," it wouldn't matter who has a gun. I don't think it's possible, but we could certainly improve.

There is a pill for that. Make it hard enough to cut glass, they say.

At my age I have fun more often with my AR than I do with my penis.
