You'd have to kill Reddit too, and that one stop shop ain't going nowhere. Nobody misses green dots and profile sigs that much.
Reddit also has things like r/smalldickproblems which is, unintentionally, the funniest thing in the history of the entire galaxy. That, and the posts of Ken M are the funniest things social media ever served up.
Yeah, Reddit is ALL the things... the good, the bad... it's all in how you consume it. I find that if I just stick with the things that I'm interested in, it's fantastic. Woodworking, welding, F1, stuff like that that you'll have a hard time finding anywhere else. Then there's the funny stuff. But fuck 95% of it... I don't give a shit about memes, etc.
Ugh… the “common” part of Reddit where it’s just near-suicidal housewives taking pictures of their cats lying in a ridged way and it’s OH LOOK, LOAFY KITTY BEING A LOAF TODAY LOAFING AROUND. Your cat just has its legs tucked in lady, how badly do you need to be validated?
Speaking of Twitter, of all the things on there that make me despair for humanity, nothing does it quite like the fact that PEMDAS trends at least three or four times a year, and during that time you can watch literally thousands of people aggressively get an elementary school math problem wrong.
It made me physically cringe whenever it made its rounds on my town Facebook page. Problem: 2 - (x) = 1 People’s Responses: x = 663
They’re not even answers you should know from studying math. You should know them simply because you are alive. They gave me a great laugh. I mean, the question “6 / 2(1 + 2) =?”almost broke the internet once. For fuck’s sake.
Nope. It’s actual one of those theorized/imaginary numbers so large that they used it specifically to calculate Lena Dunham’s total body mass.
I feel like Lena Dunham and Cum Town should not be together, go together or be discussed together. Also, I knew you were the kind of guy who listens to something called "Cum Town"....I'm only judging you because it's the Goddamned Lena Dunham episode, not the one Jim Norton did after a weekend of meth in Vegas.
Cumtown is two guys who aren’t funny and one guy who is very, very, very, very VERY funny. Don’t judge until you’ve tried. They take on the import issues:
School shooting in Oxford, Michigan. There's a video taken from inside a locked classroom where someone outside the door says "Sherrif's Office, it's safe to come out." A kid inside responds that they're not willing to take that risk. Voice then says "come to the door, bro" and the students immediately deduce that "bro" is not a word choice a cop would make in that spot and book it out the window. Gen Z knows the "how to survive a school shooting" playbook better than they know the things they're going to school for in the first place.
