Most of the pics of the “trucker” protest showed dicks in pick up trucks. Is it because their trucks are company owned so they drove their own vehicles? Or because some asshole bringing home lumber from Home Depot once every three years thinks he’s a trucker? Like around here.
So I just heard on the radio that there is a "Freedom Convoy" starting in the US. I'm sure that this won't go completely side-ways...
If you look at their route they're scrupulously avoiding any major city along the way. Also sounds like a lot don't plan to go farther than the first leg from CA to AZ. Even they are prepared for it to be an unpopular and useless gesture.

I think there's a reason they test rode this idea in Canada first. Even the most "muh rights!!!" dumbass redneck draws the line at excessive honking and blocking their way to wherever the fuck they wanna go. All it would take is a makeshift crowbar to pop the hood and they're ripping a fistful of wires out of that engine until the noise stops or the trucks move. Shit is dead before it ever begins. Though ngl, I'd like to see them try it here. I think it'd be really funny.
I guess the organizers getting there bank accounts locked has had a funding issue for funding the American version of this nonsense.
