    If an army of tanks is coming through there, it's going to kick up a ton of shit that would register as background radiation. Probably a result of them driving through, not because they're doing anything nefarious. (Other than invading a country, that is).

    Okay, so CT scans are the big xray emitters. Same radiation as getting a regular xray but in much higher doses. Nuclear medicine is the highest and your body becomes radioactive(briefly) and emits gamma rays into a “camera”. MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves to obtain images through interaction with hydrogen atoms in your body.

    oh yeah, had plenty of CT scans too. Close to as many as MRIs, if not more. I don't know for sure -- I've had a lot of both. I'm not terribly concerned either way, as fortunately I haven't had any recently. Though I keep getting these spam calls from russia asking to donate my body "to the cause." Weird
