https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/vladimir-putin-says-violence-will-26378723 If this was a real phonecall, what's the endgame here? He's for sure been dropping cluster bombs on residential areas, full on Don't Give A Fuck mode. At least they're not those barrel bombs from Syria. If Ukraine doesn't surrender, is his plan to scorch the earth, wipe them off the map for having the audacity? And how much longer would his own people continue to stand by and watch?
Conquering enough territory to block the 5 geographical gaps on Russia’s western border. Ukraine is the first country on the list; only 9 more to go.
I think a lot of it is tough guy talk. But I think the other part is him goading NATO into the war because it would help his propaganda mission to show that NATO is just an overly aggressive world-police type org. Getting nato to come in there and finish shit would help him domestically. So he’s going to try and rack up the civilian deaths and say “what’re you gonna about it?” It’s clear at this point that his ground forces don’t want to rush on in to the larger cities because they will get swallowed up and torn apart by the highly determined population inside. Also, a lot of the vehicles are getting stuck in the mud. Which will only get worse as spring time approaches. And the soldiers are low on food and fuel. And they were blatantly lied to about the mission. So all they can do is bombard them with massive artillery. Which sucks.
As someone who's finger fucked a stinger system and has talked with people who have actually fired the system, I assure you that it is not difficult to learn or use. It only takes one person to use, however standard operating procedure is to work in teams of two, which isn't unusual for any weapon bigger than a light machine gun. Why do you think it has a weird firing process?
I just got a message from a good friend who said this guy they were *this* close to working for years ago, but decided not to because he was insane, put up a bounty on social media for putin yup, same dude I linked earlier. Small world
The Russians are now shelling Europe’s biggest nuclear power plant and it’s on fire. We’re really sprinting toward the Great Filter at this point.
Nuclear power plants are way different now since Chernobyl, however they are not perfect. The ones I used to do work at were able to withstand the impact of a 767 loaded with fuel in order to protect the reactor core. I’m not sure how old the one being shelled right now is though. And what kind of protective measures exist for it. This could turn very bad very fast.
My source was the Reddit megathread live update feed, but here’s another: https://abcnews.go.com/Internationa...roops-begun-shelling-europes-largest-83240080 Live feed of the plant below. Some claim they saw explosions on it, I did not.
I would wager heavily on someone -- looking at you specifically, turkey -- having fighter jets en route to fix that problem. Every leader in Europe right now is looking at their arsenal like "which one shall I choose?"

Thanks... wasn't doubting the fact, just looking for info to follow as I wasn't seeing it in my normal feeds.
head of the plant now reporting that firefighters have been allowed inside to fight the flames. Not sure if I believe that, because it's coming from the Ukraine they have propaganda reasons. Regardless, it's being reported. This is the channel I've been watching for the entirety of the Russia/Ukraine issues, and he does an incredible job imo. Worth keeping on just in the background.
