No they can’t. They’re going to happily keep electing the piece of shit, because they agree with him. Shit elects shit. That’s why that state is so bloodthirsty and dim.

The one and only hope you have is for someone dump salt on him snd kill him. Because even a stake through the heart can’t.

Yeah and no one has any good theories on why they’re fucked up. It’s pretty strange. The “best” one I’ve read is that it was cut by the CIA to ensure Europe stays off Russian NG.

Yeah I've been trying to come up with an explanation and also coming up blank. If Russia wanted to fuck with Europe, they could just turn the valve at their end, no need to blow it up and waste gas. Europe definitely doesn't want to make their energy problems worse (and if they did, they could just stop buying). And I don't see any incentive for the US here. Could just be good old Russian incompetence.

Looks like Putin is taking a page from his WWII idol: just keep throwing bodies at the enemy until they run out of bullets.

There is no horrific atrocity, no form of disgusting inhuman act that you can even imagine that Russia hasn’t already done to its own innocent civilians over the past 100 years. They simply do not give a fuck about anything.

Yeah, I'm sure Putin will allow the UN to ensure fair voting in those areas. Autism is strong in Elon.

Stewart has always been a really good interviewer, and this is a particularly good example of the difference between his approach and the media's usual approach. You could tell the AG was prepared to give her canned responses, with the expectation that tv journalists follow the script of "ask question, receive response, move on." Stewart instead engages with the response, and doesn't let a canned soundbite suffice for an actual answer to the question. She was completely unprepared to have an interviewer just tell her to her face that her numbers are fake and that the interviewer won't accept an answer that uses them.

He’s still the best interviewer, and none of the other late night hosts, or any media figure, have come close.

He made that stupid bitch look like the stupid, uninformed botch that she is. He’s so awesome at exposing pieces of shit like that as lying assholes, it’s like art.

I live about 2 miles from an R&D army base in New Jersey. Occasionally we hear helicopters fly over. I’ve heard two flights in the last 20 minutes. At 12 teen o’clock. I’m a little nervous.

Why? Two flights is most likely an aircrew maintaining night training requirements, it could be a DV movement to demonstrate some sort if new technology used in the dark. It could be any number if benign reasons.

I live very close to a few military bases, and more generally, just outside a city nicknamed "Military City, USA." Training exercises and troop/equipment movement happens all the time. We see a lot of cool planes and helicopters in the skies all the time. When 9/11 happened, it was INSANE. Trust me, you'll know if something goes down.

Last night’s post was a combination of excess alcohol, paranoia about escalation of the war in Ukraine, and some unusual activity. I’ve lived near this base my entire life and nighttime helicopter activity is unusual as it’s mostly an R&D facility, but what you say makes sense and I’m sure you and Hokie are right. Just my overactive imagination.
