So no one is going to talk about the Chinese spy balloon drifting over the country? https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/02/us/politics/china-spy-balloon-pentagon.html
I feel like in the age of keyhole spy satellites, a balloon is more of a weird novelty than a real threat. The feds will deal with it, but it doesn't seem like a code red situation.
Yeah doesn’t feel like some actual attempt at spying given how uncontrollable the balloon would be as a vehicle. You’d think most things a balloon would be able to observe are things given out freely by different agencies anyway. Does make you wonder what capabilities we have to detect small stuff like this. Other drones that could be slipping through the cracks?
I like to think of it as a low orbit drone launching platform. Much easier to get solid signals and video from that balloon than a satellite. Send drone to do detailed reconnaissance and signal back to the balloon.
Tell that to Dana Loesch; that is ALL she's taking about today. And she keeps calling for US civilians to shoot it out of the sky... Eleven MILES up in the air. For a woman who loves guns as much as she does, she sure sounds really stupid talking about them right now. She's also calling for someone to make a "Ginsu drone" to pop the balloon that is , one again, eleven MILES in the sky... Still, this is more entertaining than her talking about how much she hates the Democrats, and how good the Republicans' semen tastes.
Apparently it will be over me tomorrow. Y'all don't worry, I'll shoot at it. Ima shake my dick at it first.
Satellites are predictable, you know when their orbit will have them overhead. However, it's not like the balloon is cruising at Mach 3 or controllable...waiting for it to arrive overhead is like waiting for the steam roller in Austin Powers. If that's the case, we learn more about their signals and hardware capabilities by letting it operate than what they might gain. She's a fucking moron.
Yeah, that's because her show is one of the many ways I consume news. I compare/ contrast the stuff I hear from different sides of the spectrum, pick out the actual facts, and come to my own conclusions. Also, where I live, my only other radio choices are shitty Mexican music, shitty country music, shitty hip-hop/ top 40, shitty Christian music, or a single shitty rock station that plays the same songs every day. At least when I listen to Dana Loesch, I can get some laughs. That, too. I'd definitely hit that, but I'd probably nail her from behind, then put it in her ass without warning right before I cum, that way her ass hurts, AND she has a little bit of me inside of her (and she doesn't get pregnant).
I don’t know what schedule @dixiebandit69 works, but I can attest that there is something about talk radio that makes time go quickly. Sometimes it’s just a good way to pass the work day.
I agree. NPR has interesting programming and news all day. At night, I can get some really good AM stations. Daytime AM around here though is like Fox News and a Facebook comment section had a baby.
It's why I listen to Bill Maher who I don't think is insufferable, as say, Chris Hayes or Rachel Maddow. Of course Bill Maher is a hard right hate monger because he doesnt like Islam, Trans dudes in women's sports, and thinks obese people should eat less and move more.
For the most part you’re right, but “Wait, Wait Don’t Tell me” is absolute dogshit for people who don’t know how to laugh, or what to laugh at. The worst.
