    A grand jury finally indicted the mother of the six year old that shot his teacher. Why it took so long, I don't know. Two other six year olds brought guns to school and their mothers were almost immediately charged.

    I'm for this, big time. I want very harsh punishments for parents that let this kind of shit happen. Parents are the ones that should see this shit coming, or keep their own firearms locked away, and they are failing the kids and their peers.

    I think that if you own a firearm, you are 100% required to store it safely and securely, and if anyone gets access to it and does bad shit with it, it's on you just as much as on them.

    Hell yeah. Some states have felony murder, why not careless murder, or something, for people that didn't keep guns out of children's hands. Some of us already take storage and safety seriously. Maybe when parents start serving mandatory prison sentences the rest will fucking start.

    My wife is 5' tall and has a bum leg... I could put mine on top of the fridge and fuck up any plans to kill me.

    It's just that in this case the perp was some Air Guardsman of little rank, so the response was as it should be. Poor guy should've been president first, then he'd get the kid gloves.
