The good Doctor would find himself correcting every bullshit point thrown out there by RFK Jr, with no time left to make his own accurate ones. Playing catchup the whole time.

Im agreeing with you but I’m sure the people I find retarded about covid may differ some from the people you are referring to. For me people, still, driving around alone in a car with mask on are just as disturbed as the people who think the vaccine causes magnets to stick to you.

Sorry, sometimes it's hard to tell sincerity from snark in this type of medium.

I've been the dude alone in a car with a mask on. Not because I was worried about catching anything while driving the car. It was because I was going to another store that wasn't that far away and I had the mask properly adjusted and didn't want to go to the trouble of taking it off and putting it back on again. I suspect it's something similar to that most of the time.

So many people, even ones who wore a mask all the time were like, why do people wear masks in there car by themselves. Same reason you stated for me, I am going to another store not that far away and it is easier to just leave it on.

At the start of COVID work got us 3 masks each, they were super nice, super comfy, they didn't bother me at all to wear them.

At the start I get. Not this week, on the highway, STILL. Probably see 2-3 people a week doing it. I get a grocery store or crowds if you are old and/or immunocompromised. Alone. In. Your. Car.

I remember a time when I was wearing a mask in my car by myself and it was because I had completely forgotten I had the mask on when I got into the car. Which for me highlights just how overblown people's obsession with hating masks was. given that I didn't even notice I had it on most of the time.

Also being from California, we had some of the strictest masking policies in the nation. I NEVER got use to wearing one. I was the guy with one foot out of the grocery store taking my mask off. 5-6 months ago I had a check up and the Doc office was still making people wear masks so I waited outside. I'm not one of those idiots that think they didn't help but I hated wearing one every minute, hour, month, year, years that I had to wear one.

You're being a decent human being about it. Those asshats who throw temper tantrums about it drive me crazy.

People actually listened to to RFK Jr. talk for 3 hours? It's not really his fault, but his voice is brutal to listen to.

At first all you can pay attention to is his voice, it's so distracting. Then your brain gets used to it and you start to pay attention to his actual words, which is the point where things get much much worse.

At this point, I would vote for just about anyone not Biden or Trump.

Everyone with a blue check on twitter seems to love him. Everyone else seems to hate him. I need to quit the internet.

Elon's blue-check system is probably the most reliable "safe to disregard this opinion" filter ever implemented on the internet. It's stunning how accurate it is.

I used to look at blue checkmarks as people who, for some reason felt that being validated on the internet constitutes as some sort of status symbol— then later they simply became people who pay money for online validation.

The one thing both blue checkmark demographics have in common is that they are people to avoid interaction with at all costs.

I wonder if they have a notification filter that hides comments making fun of them for paying for twitter?

It used to be a pretty good indicator of some level of "officialness". You could read a tweet and be like "ok, this was tweeted by an actual reporter at AP/NBC/NYTimes/etc", or that it was the official account of some company or some celebrity. Now a blue check just means you're dealing with the absolute dregs of an already cesspooly site.

It was that way before Elon took over. It’s just funnier now.
