I own a Browning A5 for exactly this reason. I've fired it a few times, but 95% of the reason I bought it is because of the history. My Remington 870 is my "I want to target shoot/hunt/skeet shoot" shotgun. On the other end, my Colt King Cobra is one of the smoothest shooters I own, and as much as I bought it for the history, I cannot help but reach for it more often than not. It's all but replaced my glock 9 as my OWB hunting/ranch carry.
I'm sure by now you've heard about the car explosion at the Rainbow Bridge border crossing. The amount of online speculation is amazing. Admittedly, at first glance it doesn't sound accidental to me, but I'm not gonna jump to conclusions either.
I watched an interview with an eyewitness who says he witnessed a car flying through the air, landing in a huge crash, fire and smoke coming from the wreck afterwards but no explosion. He again detailed “Flames and smoke yes, but no explosion.”
Yeah, saw that too... it really sounds like a medical issue or stuck throttle where dude just accelerated and hit a barrier, got some serious air, landed on some shit that broke up the car, and then the normal destruction you'd see as a result... not like there was any kind of bomb or intentional explosion.
It makes sense that the border and security agencies consider it intentional until proven different, but I think it's stupid but predictable that all the media is jumping straight to terrorism and a bombing. Colour me absolutely shocked.
After being in a, surprise, Ford Explorer, that had an electrical problem and caught fire on the side of the highway it doesn't surprise me that a car could be so thoroughly destroyed by and accident. Crazy how flammable cars are.
If a car hits a barrier hard enough to cause it to Dukes of Hazzard over shit, odds are pretty good that it'll rip the shit out of that gas tank that is exposed under the car, and surprise surprise, shit catches fire. The video of the fire at the border I saw looked exactly like a gas spill that ignited, zero indications of any kind of explosion... no blast damage, no indication of a blast or shock wave damage, etc. More like you spilled gas and it caught on fire. I'm no expert though... but I have caught some shit on fire before.
Man the video of that car and the crash are Yeah once I saw the video of the car and how fast it was going I was pretty convinced it wasn’t packed with explosives.
I dunno guys. My one friend who thinks everything is a false flag says that this is totally a false flag.
Stop hanging out with Dinesh D”Souza. …Jesus Christ that guy creates a gaff every five minutes, I swear.
Honestly, I think it was quickly and properly investigated as a potential terrorist act, given the state of the world. And, it was also quickly discovered and reported it wasn't. The end. At least in the news I saw.
I mean, he posted a screenshot of a twitter post from a news source I’ve never heard of that said the guys in the car were Iranian. How can I even refute that?
