I had no idea who he was, but when you read that they had the highest rejection of all the health providers. I could definitely see how there are thousands if not 10's of thousands of people that have had people die because of his actions.

I think that's what you meant to say.

One of the things that pisses me off most about Kamala losing* is that now we will have to hear from that autistic dipshit ALL THE FUCKING TIME, in one way or another, whether you are on Twitter or not.

*Because she's a loser. I told you people about her, just like I told y'all about Elon.
    Did anyone listen?

I'm sure if it turns out to be a deadly new plague the health expertise of RFK Jr. will be of great comfort to everyone.

I think I'll go look for a full face respirator.

I literally bought one from a yard sale in September for pennies on the dollar. New, in box, the family never used it during covid. I bought it for fiberglass work, not another virus, though.

Did you get some filters for it or can you buy some? Sounds like you got a steal.

Of course you can get filters for them; they wouldn't be much good if you couldn't. I got some 3M full face masks for JJ, Li'l Bandit, and I when the Chinese Virus first hit... We still haven't used them. But we can get filters for them. I paid enough for them.

I haven't bought any filters. I assume it came with enough filters to use it at least once without having to buy anything, but I haven't even removed it from the box to check. I should probably try to remember to do that.

The one I got is 3M.

Poor wording on my part. I wasn't sure if it was a brand that was pretty commonplace or not.

The more I think about this whole thing, the less I think it was about a disgruntled patient or family member pulling off a professional hit. From what I read, he was being investigated for insider trading or something along those lines. Someone who was denied care and is now in crippling debt from said denial wouldn’t have the funds to pay for a hit or know his precise location.

This sounds like maybe he flipped and someone else at UH needed him gone to prevent him from testifying. The person who shot him knew exactly where he would be and what time. That would take someone inside knowing his whereabouts and the huge sum of money a murder would cost. Some random patient wouldn’t have this knowledge or cash. Another exec at UH would.

It just so happens that no one will miss him and the attention will be on the fact that United Healthcare is universally reviled. People are taking too much glee in this to worry about the true motive.

    The movie was good.

Also I can’t wait for the inevitable PR push of Insurance companies’ commercials that try to humanize their shitty business model.

I have to agree the guy knowing the exact time and spot the CEO would arrive at seems like he had inside information from somewhere. Maybe it was some Micheal Clayton shit or wife’s lover.

Or the fact the people holding the board meeting were like, "CEO's been shot and killed right out front, let's just keep going like nothing happened at all. Anyone have any issues with putting an espresso machine in the executive lounge?"

Somewhere, a group of oil execs is breathing a sigh of relief that health insurance is so conspicuously evil that they acted like human shields for the texas tea folk.

Wasn't the meeting he was attending public knowledge, part of what United Healthcare called investor day? It sounds like just about anyone could've worked out when and where the guy would be that day.

Yeah. I’m not buying the whole Jason Bourne level of planning or execution. Especially with the words printed on the bullets that are the title of a book on how to sue your health insurance company.

This is something amateur and emotional and vengeance based in my opinion.

It sure has lit a match in the powder keg though.
