He does have an amazing six pack and is heir to some resort fortune. Probably has a huge dong because the universe rewards shit heels like him and Hunter Biden with them. Fucking asshole.

Hunter Biden looks like he’s been on Prep for 25 years, like a T-Rex with Klinefelter’s syndrome. I’d choose being built like Will Farrell over being “rewarded” in that way.

Just a few things of note in my life…

Firstly, my former coworker, with the conspiracy theorist mind, has deactivated his Instagram. Maybe not related, but he was a rather vocal proponent of Ted Kaczynski at times…so maybe he decided to lay low for a little.

Second, I got the following from my local hospital, which runs labs for the attached clinic with our primary physician:

My lab tests are never free, because I take Lipitor, so it means I have a preexisting condition and thus the labs don’t count as preventative. But I did notice the cost this year seemed extremely high. Hopefully I get a refund.
When my wife asked “what’s that letter from the hospital,” I said “we might get some money because somebody murdered a CEO.”

If they really want to convince us that gunning down CEOs in the street is a bad idea, they really need to address the fact that it was apparently the most effective 30 seconds of lobbying in American history. Shit is paying dividends like... well, like a health insurance stock.

Just because you take lipitor doesn't mean that some of your labs can't be considered preventive. I could understand using the code for high cholesterol for your lipid panel instead of "screening for lipid disorders", but there's no reason other standard stuff like a CBC and metabolic panel shouldn't be billed with preventive codes. And plenty of our patients still get one lipid panel a year covered as preventive as part of their standard annual physical labs even if they're on a statin. So maybe have a conversation about that?

I did laugh at the beginning of the letter. “In order to stay competitive with other companies, we raised our prices too.”

I’ll have to see what next year brings. My first test after using Lipitor for a year, I complained enough to get it all for free, so maybe I can keep that up from now on.

Is he seriously issuing a challenge? This is so tone deaf and out of touch with reality.

I resist the urge to follow the suspect's entire history as it's spread across the internet, and the urge to label him right or left wing. I think this has shown some remarkable things about how we, collectively, feel about insurance and CEO's, and the reaction has been fascinating.

    1. The CEO's removing their pics and scrubbing their online presence: HOW'S IT FEEL BITCH? I think there will be some interesting developments on whether or not a CEO, especially of a publicly traded company, is indeed a public figure, because all of the sudden their privacy is a safety issue. Tracking private jets, having speaking engagements announced months in advance, all of it is now more sensitive information, and I think these cunts will find they can't contain it. If I can find the home address of a Supreme Court justice, then it stands to reason these people can be found more easily.
    2. The election taught us both sides are desperate for change, and one side has no qualms about violence to achieve it. The billionaires running the government are now seeing the electorate in a very different light. This might be important later.
    3. This kid wanted to get caught, and I worry that he gets Epsteined before the trial can commence. The longer this is in the media, the more likely there are to be copycats. Hell, the thirst trap memes about this dude alone are probably inspiring someone else to take a shot. It's insult to injury that the snitch won't even get paid, but the longer this is in the news, the better.
    4. This kid had every privilege, every advantage, every possible step up, and was basically poised to coast through an easy, upper middle class life. Taking this kind of turn is particularly telling. The actual truth: that his medical conditions, and subsequent atrocious care combined with absurd financial risk negated an Ivy League education, wealthy family and high-paying career. This is a pretty loud alarm: in any other country, this kid's medical issue would be an unpleasant afterthought, somewhere between a trip to the DMV and any other medical appointment, not a life-wrecking ordeal that includes risking his entire financial future. The spin will be whatever folks find convenient to consume, but the young elite are increasingly pissed off about the dumpster fire they are inheriting, and it'll be fascinating what they do about it.

I go back to: let the man's words and actions speak for themselves. If he's painted as MAGA, or woke, or "another broke Millennial" or some other dismissive term, the media will have done the job of preserving a dysfunctional status quo. He did and said some weird shit, no doubt, and I loathe to think of what would get picked up by CNN or FOX if my entire internet history was combed through by pundits seeking nuggets.

He wrote a manifesto, and it's...alarmingly prescient, grounded and relatable. He could have gotten away with this just by discarding the gun, trimming his fucking eyebrows, and waiting on the police to frame someone else. He wanted to get caught, and while the circus hangs on everything it can find out, keep perspective that the only people who disagree with what he did are paid by billionaires to say so, in one way or another.

I do find the official responses to be disappointing. We spend all this money on defense and surveillance and the answer is "Idk"?

Watch it be these guys (or someone similar) in action.

Saw a couple of YT videos on these guys and it looks fairly impressive. It'll be interesting to see if it has legs.

I think the Iranian drone theory is ludicrous, and I don’t believe they are traveling from way offshore , and across 60 miles of airspace in the NY area, to where they are being seen.

My best guess is A) there are way fewer drones than people think, because folks are miss identifying planes, helicopters etc, and multiple people are reporting the same drones. B) it could be a private group, but I think it’s more likely that C) these are newer drones being developed and test flown from the several military installations in my area, and the government simply won’t admit it.

I grew up near Eglin AFB and we often saw or heard weird shit due to test flights on not yet released aircraft. My dad has a story about being out at night hunting way back in the day and seeing an aircraft that anyone would have assumed was alien due to the way it was gliding and moving, and the odd shape. Later, like maybe within the next 2 years, the gov officially released info about the stealth craft and he connected the dots. Wish I could remember what the thing was called.

Can you imagine being KMFDM, and having to go through this shit again 25 years later?

Big Loser Energy, you can't even work up your own mental issues so you copycat the Columbine kids. Cultural appropriation is what it is.

They more blamed Marilyn Manson for Columbine which is just as dumb; but that’s back when fundamental Christians were considered to be society’s insane boogieman— now traded out for rank-and-file liberals. If anybody knew anything about KMFDM, they would find out are largely a joke band a la Barenaked Ladies. What’s En Esch going to say in an interview now? “Again.. we’re German, we broke up, and we make songs about how much we think our own music sucks.”

And that shit is so ten years ago, find a new way to shoot people. Now killing a CEO… that is the cool new thing that’s kickin’ it down in Brooklyn, yo. Instead of being a pariah, become a martyr.

The boys at the 2A forum jumped immediately to "another woke trans liberal shooter just like all the others". I don't think they've fully accepted that it was just a regular girl yet.
