Does anyone know a good place to stream BBC1 and 2 outside UK or anywhere where I could download saturdays Match of the Day from?
Anybody know of a place online (or otherwise) where I can get custom body pillow covers? I'm talking full screen print sort of thing, not some dumb pattern.
Considering it's the first storm of the season, I am getting on the ball this year. Can anyone recommend a good snow blower/snow thrower that is decent, easy to use, and not too expensive? What's the difference between a blower and a thrower anyway? My parents are getting up there in age and shoveling is one thing I'd like to take off their plate. Plus, my dad's heart condition mixed with stubborn Greek pride ("I'm not going to let my WIFE shovel!") is an equation for disaster. I'm looking online and it's like reading a foreign language. Any help would be appreciated.
Considering taking on a silent partner to provide the liquidity I need to expand my business. Besides running background checks on the investors, what else should I look into?
Hire an attorney and draft a partnership paying special attention to buy-sell agreements, dividend payments etc. Have a clear and agreed definition of the term 'silent partner'. Personally unless this person is bringing something to the table other than capital (connections, advice etc) and you really believe in your business then I would recommend beating down every bank door to get loaned the money rather than straight up trading capital for share. While hard to get money is pretty cheap at the moment, without knowing your particulars I would at least explore this as a primary option before taking on a partner.
Im looking at buying tickets on stub hub to an NFL playoff game. There is just one problem, that playoff game may not happen. If I buy them, do they refund the money if the game does not happen? How does this work? Thanks
LEGAL CANADA I dunno if anyone on here is in the legal field in Canada. I'm currently sitting on a runway in Moncton and have been for an hour now. The flight attendants have refused me food citing that if they serve it then everyone will have to be allowed some and they don't have enough. As per the Federal Flight Rights Canada from 2008, I think they have breached it. They are getting angry at anyone who wishes to use the bathrooms, the engines are not running, we are sitting stagnant. This has GOT to be illegal. What kind of recourse do you think I have?
Alright, once again, I need a slight bit of broad legal help. If I had a buddy who was on a project for a multi-million dollar company who tells me they're developing something with a public company who trades at less that two bucks (with about 9 million public shares) and the execs are wanting to just buy out the company, is that considered insider trading?
Basically, i helped my relatively new girlfriend through a rough time during finals, and she bought me a $50 bottle of cologne for "putting up" with her. Now christmas is fast approaching, and (1) because I don't have money and (2) because I'm unimaginative, I need help figuring out a gift for her. I was thinking about something that I can make, or at least modify to give it some real sentimental value. I'm thinking of getting something alongside one of those cheezy "one free backrub" coupons. Does anyone have advice about gift-giving on the cheap?
Alright, this is really cheeseball, but it's a good gift that shows you put some effort into it. Origami Stars There are links on that site to different places to buy the paper, and I think there's a template on there that you can download and print out and cut the paper yourself. When I did this, I bought a small wooden box from a craft store for about $1 and filled it with a shit load of these little stars. Some had "I love you" messages, some were coupons for backrubs, etc. I told her that if she ever needed something to make her feel better, she could just unwrap a star. The gift lasted years until she got through them all and it cost me about $10 total and an hour or so to write a bunch of notes and fold the stars (which are really easy to do).
Does anyone have a suggestion for a way to setting something up on the internet for people to donate cash? I am setting something up for a group of people I know to donate some cash for a friend who's wife just died and not everyone has paypal and I'm not quite sure the best way to go about it. Many thanks.
Men and their toys I'm thinking of getting my boyfriend some form of bike accessory for his birthday (many months in the future, but I need to plan). His bike is used strickly for exercise, three times a week when the weather is good, and for 2 hours rides. He takes it on city roads/paths right now, but as he is moving soon I think he might start offroading it. Any suggestions? I know nothing about the sport, just that he likes it. Thanks!
I don't do store shopping... ever, and even less so do I buy home products. Where would I be best served to look for a French press coffee maker, other than say, a Starbucks. [note: Stores existing in Canada only please]
Go to a kitchen supply store. EVERY medium sized city in Canada has one. For instance, here in London, ON, (where I'm spending a few weeks), they have this place: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.kissthecookonline.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.kissthecookonline.com</a> They carry the high-quality items like that, as opposed to the cheap shit at Canadian Tire or Sears. Sure, you'll probably spend more on it there (due to the quality), but I'd rather buy something high-quality than shit these days. I'm also a fan of EspressoPlanet.com. They have a TON of stuff available online, and a French Press is something that I'd feel comfortable buying online. I used to have this French Press (ex-wife got it): <a class="postlink" href="http://www.espressoplanet.com/coffee-and-espresso/bodum-chambord-8cup-doublewall-french-press-coffee-maker-10573.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.espressoplanet.com/coffee-an ... 10573.html</a> It ROCKS(ed).
Was on the way to a big plaza full of home and garden stores, stopped at starbucks for lunch and they were selling Bodums for 50% off. Mission accomplished, ty anyway (would be a green dot but I need to 'spread my reputation point around'). Got a 4cup and an 8cup Kenya [former for me latter for her, I don't drink coffee all that much]
Some of you are bound to be video game junkies. My dad recently gave me a box he told me was Christmas ornaments that actually contained factory sealed game boy color pokemon silver and gold video games. I've looked online at price guides and completed sales on ebay, and they're listed in value from $100-$140 and have sold from $50-$60, although there have been very few NIB ones for sale. My question is, what's the easiest way for me to sell these, ebay? I'd rather not dick around with it quite honestly, anyone know of a way to sell them to someone else in bulk for less money just to make it easier? While I'm as greedy as the next guy I don't want to make this my life's work.
