This exact situation came up when I was a clerk in the criminal division, but it was between a PD and a AP who worked the same courtroom. It necessitated a re-examination of every case the two had worked on together to make sure there were no discrepancies between deals he got his clients and what other attorneys got. It is a giant clusterfuck. One got fired, the other got reassigned. This is not addressing the rest of your post, because this alone should be ample reason for one or the other to change venues.

Believe it or not, it's probably worse on her part. Which sets up a huge problem if she gets fired, or potentially fired and decides (upon discovery of the pot issue) to take your boy down with her.

Something about women scorned also comes to mind...

Other than that (loss of career, liberty, reputation) I can't see what possibly could go wrong here.

So I just received word that our landlord is walking away from the apartment, and the foreclosure is happening soon. Now I have heard that foreclosure companies, or whoever handles it can just walk in and start trashing things, but we need time to move out. Now he is supposed to make it clear that there are renters, but I have a feeling in this crappy town we live in that there are likely companies with fewer scruples.

For safety I am moving all the valuables to Jägerette's parent's house, but does anyone know the law on this? I know on the old board there was a guy who worked in foreclosures in California, which is the state I am in.

I left a pen in my pants pocket by mistake and got ink stains on my BRAND-fucking new (as in never wore them before) khakis. I use Bic Z4 pens (AKA permanent ink) and while I'm not hopeful, if anyone has ideas or experience with removing this type of stain, please PM me. I spent a lot of money on these pants and there's going to be hell to pay if I can't wear them.

I hope someone with Netflix and a PS3 can help me out... My buddy brought over his instant streaming disk a while back and loaded it up in my Playstation. I just got Netflix and my disk just came, but the PS3 is already associated with his account I guess so when I put my disk in his instant queue and recommendations and shit comes up. I've tried logging into a different account on the Playstation, but no dice. Please someone tell me I'm not stuck with his account permanently...?

Just put this up on the MMA thread over at instrength.

"Guys, I really don't know much about MMA, which is why I've never contributed to the board (been an avid reader of the strength threads though). I need some help, and was about to post on the idiot board, but figured I'd go right to the source.

My buddy asked me to come up with some MMA shirt ideas and I don't have too many concepts. Best one I came up with was a 'Grand Theft Auto: Rampage Jackson Edition,' and working around the copyright and Fair Use laws for that would be a nightmare. They told me to redo stuff that's already been done with a different look, since you can't copyright something like 'too jui-ji to quit,' but that mess is lame and against my principles. Any ideas would be appreciated, if anything goes into production I'd definitely be comping you for creative property and will get into that if there's any responses.

Also, going to be do the layout and design of a monthly Atlanta area fight mag in the near future. Pretty sure it will be free, it's to promote the scene and upcoming fights. Anyone interested I should have the info to get on the mailing list soon."

I need some advice from anyone who has attempted to acquire a Master's degree from a European school. Specifically, as a foreigner. Long story short, I am an American and I am examining my options in getting my Master's abroad. I haven't narrowed down a focus to any specific region just yet, but if you have done anything similar, please shoot me a PM.

Please note: I have spent significant time outside of the US both studying and working, so this is not a pipe dream, more of an investigation of feasibility and a comparison of pros & cons between some schools I am looking at in the US and Argentina. Thanks in advance.

Got this from the Netflix forums.

1.) From the main home screen of the PS3 scroll over to the video tab and instead of hitting the Netflix logo to play the disc go up to the top and you should see BD Data Utility
2.) Hit X (enter) on that and you should see a netflix entry, hit the triangle button and select to delete it
3.) That's it when you fire up the netflix instant streaming disc on your PS3 now it won't remember the previously logged in account and instead give you the activation code again so you can log in with a different one.

While the foormer ChasingKaz forum may be good for MMA, do NOT go there for anything track related. I remember reading some of the stuff they wrote about getting in shape for track.....it all ended up being "some sort of running" followed by lifting every day. Lifting doesn't solve everything, and that's not going to get you in the shape you want for track.

    Try here: http://www.elitetrack.com/

Now, elitetrack is going to be more geared towards shorter sprints (400 and under) and field work than the longer sprints (800) and distance work. I'm guessing that you are going for shorter sprints if you say you have to get into shape; distance runners just don't stop running. But the guy who runs that forum used to coach at LSU, and there are some other big-time names who regularly post there.

This is a question geared towards anyone with general knowledge to the stock market or ammunition industry. I was talking to some cops today about the price of ammo. Down at the local firing range, I was shocked to find out it would cost me $30 to buy a box of 50 .38 Specials. Not even jacketed. It's nearly 50 cents a bullet for any type of ammo besides 9mm and .22 LR. Which got me thinking as to how great of an industry manufacturing ammo must be. There's millions of guns in this world, even just in America, and every day someone is taking these weapons out and putting a couple rounds through them. The question I have is, how profitable IS manufacturing ammo? Is it normally stable on the stock market? Would it be wise to invest in firearms or ammo right now? If so, what companies would be best?

ATK (Alliant Techsystems) is the largest manufacturer of small arms ammunition in the world. They own Federal, CCI, Speer, and several other gun-related companies. The important fact, however, is that commercial ammunition sales is only the tip of the iceberg for them. They are a massive aerospace (20% of their revenue is from NASA alone) and defense corporation. The problem is that they are pretty dependent upon government contracts, so you'd better hope the gov't keeps the military and NASA very well funded before investing. They haven't been doing as well in recent times. Because I don't want this to become a political post, you can make your own conclusions. If the company stock was based upon their commercial ammunition sales alone, I'd buy some myself.

Another huge player in the market is the Cerberus group. They own Remington, Marlin, DPMS, Dakota Arms, and H&R. Yeah, kinda significant. However, you can't buy Cerberus stock because it doesn't have publicly traded stock. This doesn't mean the company won't heavily influence other firearm and ammunition manufacturers (they will!).

Other manufacturers such as Smith and Wesson, Ruger (Sturm, Ruger & Co.), and Winchester (Olin Corp.) have seen their stock shares grow considerably, especially after the past election. However, S&W's stock prices have dropped some while Ruger and Winchester have continued to grow well.

I personally would invest in Savage Arms before anything (too bad they aren't publicly traded). They are doing extremely well and I think you'll see them become a dominant company in the firearms industry in the near future as long as their products continue to provide high value and other companies are getting worse and worse (Remington, I'm looking at you). I hope the Cerberus acquisition of Remington doesn't pull Marlin down with them, simply because that's a company I don't want to see fail.

As far as ammunition costs are concerned, go look up the costs for raw lead and copper and then tell me what you think. Alongside prices for those necessary materials rising sharply in recent years, once again this past election caused some people to stockpile ammunition to the point of some shortages being seen. That's why your .38 Special ammunition was so damned expensive. For awhile you couldn't see .22, 9mm, .45, or other popular rounds on store shelves because people bought everything in sight. Manufacturers have been working like hell to get stuff back on the shelves, so you will see ammunition prices going down. Back to "normal"? I don't know.

Take everything I say with a grain of salt because I know firearms much better than I do the stock market. As a whole, while the large firearm and ammunition companies are very large and strong, they can still change fast. Based upon my knowledge of firearms, basic understanding of stock markets, and analysis of recent and past stock numbers, I would invest in Sturm, Ruger & Co. or Olin Corp. stock. Would it be a good investment? I think so, but you should get more opinions.

I'm a twenty something IT dude who was just offered an interesting enough position in Phoenix. Who has lived in Phoenix? Did you hate it? Did you like it? I visited over the weekend, rode a Harley through the desert, the whole deal. Seemed pretty awesome, but I want an inside perspective. Any help is great.

Does anyone have experience with lip-piercings? More specifically how long they take to close up if you remove the jewellry (I know it probably varies from person to person, I'm just trying to get a rough idea).

I've had mine for about a year and a half, and I start a new job on Saturday that doesn't allow facial piercings-they won't even let me wear a clear plastic retainer. My only option at the moment is to remove it prior to starting work, and put it back in during breaks-I'd just like some idea of how regimental I'd need to be when it comes to doing this.

    Cheers.
