Depending on your service provider, ESPN3.com streams all the non-ABC games with very good quality and ESPN commentary. Uni vision streams every game with Spanish commentary. I've heard Canadian Broadcasting Company streams the games, but it hasn't worked for me and might not work outside of Canada. Other than that, go with the everday stream options like justin.tv
I'm tired of accidentally knocking my iPhone off the treadmill when I snag the headphone cord. Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent, affordable pair of stereo Bluetooth headphones that are good for working out? I really like the over-the-ear clip style earbuds that I have now, except for that pesky cord thing. Thanks in advance!
What? You can't identify it without the picture? I don't suppose anybody would believe I intentionally left a picture off to be funny . . . Shit - what a dumbass. I'll try again.
That would be a Dodge Rambler - circa 1963 Actually, Lust4life is correct - it is a Nash Rambler which then became American Motors - that's what I get for going from memory!
I've recently discovered that there are handheld game emulators like the Dingoo A320 Pocket Emulator or the GP2X Wiz, and I want one. Like, now. Has anyone actually used one, or know anything about them? Not just these two, I'll take recommendations on any other ones out there. There are definitely a few more that I've looked into, but apparently those two are the most used.
I've got another US trip planned, this time for October-November, and I've got an iPhone that I'd love to bring with me to stay on top of emails/Google maps etc without having to lug a laptop around. However, the international roaming charges are fucking ridiculous from Australia so I'd rather use a local number. I've heard AT&T sells a stand-alone pre-paid SIM card that I might be able to use. Anyone able to confirm/deny?
I don't know about AT&T, but if you jailbreak and unlock the phone, you can put in a local SIM card and use that, paying local rates. If you've upgraded to iOS 4 and have a recent 3GS or iPhone4, then there is no jailbreak for your phone yet. I'm sure there will be something before October, though.
I have an older JVC television that has the sleep timer set for 3 seconds. So you turn the tv on, it's "awake" for 3 seconds (not long enough to display a picture or access the menu) and it goes to sleep mode. I've left it unplugged for like a week. How do I un-fuck this?
If I was to hire some migrant workers from the back of home depot to move, how much would you theoretically pay them per hour? Any experiences?
I live in CT which is expensive so take this into account as they have put up(in certain cities) designated worker pick up areas. If you are just doing simple moving I would expect to pay 10-12 dollars an hour in my area. If you are thinking you are going to pay them like 5 bucks an hour don't even bother.
Anyone know anything about piercings? I've got two piercings that I haven't worn any jewelry in in quite some time and they won't close up. (Belly button, out 8 years and nipple, out just over a year) Also, when I have anything in the hole, the area swells a little, itches and turns bright red (I run an earring through every so often to make sure everything's clean) Before I took out the nipple ring, I did some research and everything said they close up in a matter of a few days... I just wonder why mine won't. Does the length of time that I wore jewelry in them matter?
No. In fact, except for getting an ear pierced in college once for a costume, I lack any qualifications of any kind to answer this, and my response will probably be deleted. However, these remarks seem to be part of the problem. Instead of running an earring through there, couldn't you just pour some hydrogen peroxide on it? I don't think anybody can make this diagnosis without looking at it. You should probably post some pictures. There's already a thread for it even.
Has anyone stayed at the Harrah's in Las Vegas? I'm booking a room for my August trip and I want to see if it's any good. Basically I can stay there for free and I've read some reviews online but those things are a crapshoot. I'd rather ask some random people on a messageboard. Ballsack...have you stayed there?
I was there with the fam over Thanksgiving and it's pretty decent. It's right in the middle of the strip so perfect location, it's just a far walk to the City Center, which is where I would want to check out right now. We had a room with a view of the strip looking over the Mirage, so that was pretty awesome. It's a great place to stay for free if you can because of it's location. The casino is alright, but it's close to everything so that kind of makes up for it.
Does anyone know the name of the guy who has been attempting to prove psychics are full of shit for the last 30 or so years? I believe that he offered a 10 million dollar reward for anyone who passed his "psychic test" but for the life of me I can't remeber his name. Thanks in advance.
Earlier today I was laying by the pool and it felt like I had water in my ear, which is not usually a problem, I shake my head, try to get it out, and no avail. It's been seven hours now and it feels like not only is the water in there, but its starting to block hearing and I'm unable to pop my ear (blowing through my nose with my nostrils clogged.) When I yawn it feels like something is going on with my eardrum. I've tried using over the counter ear "swim-ear" type products and still nothing. My next course of action was to take a nap with that ear lying down as to maybe have gravity do it's job. Nothing. It's driving me fucking nuts and I can't figure out what the hell is going on. Any Ideas?
