In-game: Start -> Options -> Sensitivity -> Custom -> ? I think the default setting is 2 or something. It takes a while to get used to... It helped me to maximize cover which is very useful. Now I just hipfire spam when I see someone around corners. I roll with ninja pro so before changing to Tactical I'd rage when commando got the upper hand. Fuck, I hate commando. Anyone wanna go?
Afghan. Jump off the cliff, make sure you jump out too so you don't land on the mattresses below. Probably could jump off the tower in Rust, but you'd probably get shot in the process.
so got drunk and prestiged. Again. Having a lot of fun playing with the SPAS as my shotty since I don't have my striker back yet. Thing's damn near surgical. Like a close range sniper - point, shoot, dead. Doesn't have the same flashbanged-panic spamming capabilities of the striker, but otherwise I'm really liking it. How do you guys like the M21ebr? Can rapid fire this thing like crazy with no kickback, but unless I get the headshot it just seems to take 2 shots.
Just got a game winning killcam with an RPG. HEADSHOT! Yet I still can't get one with a riot shield melee attack. I'm beginning to hate Fuel. Enjoyed sniping/spasing inside the main building originally, but now cunts just hide in between or even in the rocks with their fucking LMGs. Booooring!
The solution to your Fuel problem lies with what you used for the game winning killcam. Rockets and Noob Tubing will deter most campers. Unless you are awesome like I am and know how to do it superbly with Claymores w/Scavenger, you'd be amazed how many idiots I catch slippin with the Claymore in the exact same spot they just blew up at. My personal pet peeve at the moment is the AT4. Why in fuck sake does it take damn near five seconds for it to be ready to fire? I miss the RPG7 because I'm trying to complete the level three challenge of getting two or more kills with the AT4 or RPG7.
I started playing MW2 pretty recently after I had to buy XBL to sync up with my Netflix account (didn't want to pay for cable). I'm only around level 25 as of last night so I'm probably miles behind most people who play here. I started using the SPAS last night after watching that video a few pages back and..goddamn. Once I get used to it and improve my accuracy it's going to be a wrecking machine. PuncherOfDonkey on Xbox
I just don't play Fuel. Easy solution to the rock glitching problem. You can't kill the people inside with rockets, only with bullets and even then you're firing blind while they see your dumb ass guessing. Fuck Fuel.
I've been trying to build a great stealth class. I love playing stealth, because for one thing, killing everybody guarding the flag in highrise buildings in under 5 seconds by sneaking in through the underground channel, breaking into the glass cubicle right by that entrance, and luring them all out of their spots with a retarded teammate shooting randomly (Played by my friend Johnny), then grabbing their flag, then doing it again, is amazing. For another thing, Also, headquarters pro on invasion is fantastic with this class, but you need to just pick em off from any of the second floor buildings. Simple class; works for me. M16-Silenced G18-Silenced Scavenger Pro ColdBlooded Ninja Pro I can't use something besides Scavenger because the key to this class is staying hidden, and if you don't have a huge reserve of ammo up there in that nest, you're fucked. And if you have an ACR class, slapping a suppressor on that shit means you'll always have enough time to kill em from a distance. I also learned playing with The Carters 1 and 2 playing from the speakers will make you better.
I used to play Quake 3 Arena and Socom with some heavy metal shit blasting. With CoD Ive found that there is much more need to hear whats going on around you in game so I stopped with the music. Ive I wanted to get really juiced up Id drink three or four espressos and tweak out playing.
Just a suggestion, take it for what it's worth, but if you are gonna do the stealth/camping thing, swap out Ninja for Sit Rep. You aren't gonna be walking enough for it to make a difference. That way you get the red tracer on any pesky explosive or claymore trying to end your campfest.
Speaking of sitrep, I've been working on getting sitrep pro for some time now(at about 50/120). It has to be the hardest perk to pro. I worked on it for a while before I prestiged and had to start over. What I can't believe is how exponentially easier it is to get with the fmj. Before my biggest problem would be trying to find a good angle on the claymore without having it blow up on its own while at the same time trying not to get killed by the camper using it. Man was it a pain in the ass. fmj makes it 10 times easier. I was looking for an opinion though, has anyone else on here put in the time to get sirep pro? What happens? Is it worth it?
Look for boosters and explode them with something while their tactical insertions are down. After five or six games of killing boosters you'll have like 80 tactical insertions destroyed. I got sitrep pro a couple prestige's ago, and depending on the type of player you are, it could be worth it. Everyone's footsteps are very, very loud, so it's almost impossible for people to sneak up on you.
To me sitrep is very unnecessary when playing with even one other person you can communicate/coordinate with. That's because when you're in a 2+ man squad and are being consistently snuck up on or getting hung up on claymores, you're doing something terribly wrong. To a degree this is true even when you are playing solo which is why I don't use it. Using ninja and a bit of planning reduces the chances of being ambushed significantly and there are several tricks to near eliminating the threat of claymores. Anyways, I should be back to CoDing in a week or so.
I love Sitrep on my sniper class. Yesterday on Terminal I was on the red roof overlooking the hallway and airplane and they had like 2-3 campers inside the cockpit. Got the How the ? achievement with a double kill. Awesome. Also, I'm starting to not hate Fuel. I say let them get inside the rock, tac. insertions and everything. The M9 akimbo absolutely annihilates everything when you approach them from the back. That huge open area is great when you've got a sentry gun placed on top of the huge boulder. Tried out other game modes instead of TDM and Dom. Snd can get boring and frustrating when you play it alone but it becomes an absolute hoot when you're in a party. Put them all in a chatroom and it's guaranteed hilarity. What's the win/loss ratio for you guys like? I have like 0.85, mostly because I ragequit so much.
Currently at .63, though I have to assume that'd be higher if I was playing alone and not with my room mate. Can someone please confirm for me if I'm crazy or not, because this can't only be happening to me: I was playing yesterday and ran up behind someone. I unloaded at least 15 bullets from 15-20 feet away, every one of them hitting the guy. In that time, he turned around, ran at me and knifed me. I watched the kill cam and it showed I didn't even fire a single shot, the guy just turned around and knifed me. That has happened a ton of times. Does it happen to anyone else? My connection is always at four bars and I never skip or anything, but a large majority of my kills involve me shooting a few bullets first, the other guy killing me, and then the kill cam showing I never shot a bullet. It angers me so fucking much I almost destroyed another PS3 controller yesterday.
It actually happened to me yesterday as well, except the guy I unloaded into was FUCKING PRONE. He got up, turned around and knifed me, I'm pretty sure I expanded some little kids' vocabularies on the mic after it happened. Speaking of fucking retarded, if you are going to bitch and complain along the lines of "Man it must be nice to play this game all the time" & "I could be that good, but I have a girlfriend and kids" then make sure your stupid ass isn't ranked HIGHER than the guy you are talking shit about. This actually happened yesterday after a guy on our team got a tactical nuke.
