I'd like to say I'm not going to try to use "I'm sorry but I need help reacting to something". But I'd be lying. The only thing I didn't like is that the Pierce storyline seemed shoehorned in, but otherwise great episode. Shirley's line when they first enter the carnival killed me.
MOTHER FUCKING MICHAEL IRONSIDE. And Omar Little (Biology Professor) saying : "A man's gotta have a code." Awesome. This may have topped the paintball episodes, so much awesome. "Boiling water is the icicle stabbing of yam killing"
So with Starburns being dead, and the group getting expelled, is this show ending with some dignity instead of being cancelled?
To me it seemed like they were cutting down costs by eliminated Omar Little and Star burns, and also giving them an option for summer school since the rest of the season will continue after the normal school year ends.
In depressing news, the show is being moved to 8:30 on Friday nights with 'Whitney' as the lead in show. Something tells though that Friday nights could actually help extend the show past 4 seasons, maybe even to....six seasons and a movie?
What? I can't tell if you're being sarcastic due to you missing a few words, but there's a reason it's called the Friday night death slot.
As this article points out, it won't have to go up against The Big Bang Theory anymore. With Community's low budget and cult following, I can see it having enough fan support to last without any competition being aired against it. Fringe has done pretty well on Fridays up until now.
As glad as I am that the show got renewed, I think tonight's last episode would have made a great series finale.
Well, Dan Harmon is no longer the showrunner of Community. David Guarascio and Moses Port will be taking over. They worked on Happy Endings.
Well, considering Happy Endings sucks Oprah's balls compared to Community, I'm not sure this is a good thing...
Whoa, don't forget the awesome Nintendo episode. Abed falling in love with the girl from the village...that was awesome too.
And now, you, too, can fall in love with her(presumably): http://projecthawkthorne.com/ (don't expect much)
So apparently every adult actor on Modern Family got nominated for an Emmy but Troy and Abed got ignored, fuck this noise.
