Evidently, the bazooka on the guy that went to the subway was "inert" meaning it was spent. So he basically wore a giant a bullet casing to a protest. These fucking people are so mind bogglingly stupid I'm surprised they know how to feed themselves.
Unless that’s was a gun control protest which it wasn’t, I see zero reason to walk around with long guns and camoflauge armour. That is the exact opposite impression of “peaceful”. They are dressed and ready to engage other human beings in a fire fight. That is the impression they are giving. And considering holding a barbecue fork can get you shot down there, they should be thankful to be alive right now.
Veering a little into politics here but after the Virginia rally which was billed as a looming gunfight of white nationalist by the media beforehand, showing gun owners are respectful non violent protesters, as opposed to the BLM 'give em space to riot' crowd, has been a big thing in the gun community.
I agree with you 100%. I'm a redneck and I find these dipshits showing up strapped like third world mercenaries embarrassing as hell. Every responsible gun owner has been taught that the gun does not come out unless you intend to blow a hole a hole in something. These morons peacocking around like commandos are idiots trying to intimidate people. That is not the proper use of a firearm.
they’re also showing it off with the implication that “I not only have the right for [whatever I’m protesting for], but I have the right to show this off too!” yeah, but you don’t have the right to be a fucking idiot about it. Some people are scared by guns. Deal with it. Protests like that are the exact reason politicians ban guns. Wanna have yours taken away? Keep doing stupid shit. Also, guarantee you none of those stupid fuckers sanitized their guns afterward.
I mean, this is literally a painted post with a broomstick and a horseshoe attached to it. How fucking retarded are these people?
Go read any gun blogs. It’s hilariously stupid how far down the rabbit hole these people go. And COVID is making it all worse. The threat of civil unrest is more real, and now they feel justified.
Ok and? Threatening them with the overreaching statism that they’re already paranoid about is probably not the answer.
My God people are dumb. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ks-SWASTIKAS-grocery-shopping-California.html
The local hometown ice cream stand was opened the other day. Place was flooded with parents taking their kids out. Place mints money during the summer and looked like it hadn't skipped a beat. The walk up window had spacers it looked like, there was a line of cars around the block and maybe a dozen more cars parked in neighboring lots with kids playing on the tailgates.
Wife and I had dinner out a Mexican joint on Friday. 1/4 capacity rules in effect. They blocked off a large swath of the parking lot to add more outdoor dining area. Servers all had their blast shields on and were wearing gloves. I don't really understand the glove part, I'm sure there is a better way but whatever it takes to keep the Karens happy. Definitely not normal but at least it is on the path back to normal. Separately, I watched the UFC card last night. I'm sure the headlines will be out there poo-pooing Joe Rogan for the face-to-face post fight interviews but I'm glad he did it. This will get us all closer to understanding whats what in the grand reopening.
An ice cream shop in MA opened Friday. Now they're closed. It appears that after only 7 weeks some people forgot how to act civilized.
Nah. Most of the health experts I've seen are saying we don't have the testing capability to safely reopen, and it seems like we're moving ahead for political/economic reasons only. I can still work from home, so I'll stick with that until something changes.
Odd how it devolved so quick in some instances. Ive worn a mask one and a half times going to to get groceries and never got a crossed look. Then you hear people getting fucked up for it.
It's weird. Down here supply outstrips demand. https://www.mynews13.com/fl/orlando...aution-as-task-force-examines-re-opening-path It's all over facebook too (County ads for testing). They are begging people to show up and get tested at this point. Not enough interest in being tested, I guess.
They are now overwhelmed with orders. Sort of a reverse Streisand Effect of sorts which is always nice to see, but this points out something I’m seeing more and more of: People just acting out and being so goddamn rude. Cutting in line like the ghetto trash always does at theme parks. Bitching about the most nonsensical, worthless bullshit. Giving employees a hard time because all of a sudden life requires effort. I can within a flea’s dick of punching out this tall, skinny fuckstick who thought he could just cut in front of me (and everybody else) in the grocery line. I’ve have never made in a scene in a store in my entire LIFE up until that point, thank god I was alone. My solution for this ever-increasing problem is not to open things up and make everyone happy. Instead, we should gather up these troublesome scamps and fucking euthanize them. Then you can open things up because we will have, literally, trimmed the day.
