that'd be nice, I agree with you, but that's just not reality. Which country is it that does traffic tickets that way? I prefer that system, but again, I just don't see it happening here. I have a friend in toronto who told me about this earlier today and I told her that applications for medical exemptions will also increase. Which, I'm sure, can be "bought" if you're friends with the right people
As long as a truck modified to roll coal comes with a penalty of "forclose on your house" I'm willing to be flexible on the other fines.
local kid did recently that to a group of cyclists, in the souped up and illegally modified f250 his father just bought him (he was 16). Lost control of the truck, sent a bunch of the cyclists to the hospital. i swear this pandemic is making the jerks become assholes, and the assholes become criminals
That shouldn’t even be a “hot mic moment”, he should just be flat out saying that to those fucking nimrods. Calling out Rand Paul for literally profiting off targeting him was great too. He just had to sit there and sulk with his pedophile hair.
Here in NY the county health departments no longer have to do contact tracing. Because honestly, they can’t. They’re too overwhelmed. I got my isolation orders and all the related paperwork emailed to me two days ago. I’d already isolated and gone back to work.
Apparently there's good news in that Boston's poop indicates the peak in new cases was reached and we are now on the decline. The death spike is probably still ahead of us, but hopefully it has an expected peak soon as well.
My sons teacher showed up to school sick. I went to pick him up and she had lost her voice. Wouldn’t you know it? The next day the class was shut down. Why would you do that? In order for him to go back o had to get him tested. I went to a local pharmacy assuming they would administer the test. But not they made me do it. You wouldn’t believe how hard it is to hold your five year old and swab his brain via nose. We are now going to target to pick out a new lego kit this evening.
http://iga.in.gov/legislative/2022/bills/house/1372#digest-heading I genuinely don't think we're going to make it as a country. Our stupidity is terminal.
We’re on the cusp of this ourselves. They test all kids and teachers at the daycare weekly, but have had 1 or 2 people test positive. They shut those classes down but kept the rest open. They generally keep them segregated, but impossible to completely do so. Today my daughter’s teacher went home sick. We’re just waiting for the email of the school being shut down for a couple weeks.
https://twitter.com/FullContactMTWF/status/1481638689415462916?s=20 This is why anybody who thinks they should take guidance from Joe Rogan and people like him are immediately assumed to be retarded in my mind. Even when shown direct proof that refutes the exact bullshit point they're trying to make, they won't accept culpability of their inaccuracies.
Confirmation bias is dangerous. He’s suddenly so skeptical of the sources when he doesn’t agree with them.
I think he needs to stay the course because otherwise he would have to admit to moving to Texas for nothing.
"It has actually been established that one of the ingredients in the mortar used to join the blocks of the Great Pyramid was Bigfoot semen." "Wow, that's fascinating" "Here's an article from New Scientist that reports that myocarditis incidence from COVID infection is a known thing." "I think it's important to be skeptical."
it’s happening everywhere. If I’m lucky, half my day is spent dealing with this shit. Fortunately, the last I heard omnicron has either spiked, or is very close to it. Though admittedly I haven’t had much time to read into it, like I said, busy and I’m currently snarfing down a sonic burger in my truck before I’m back at it.
Rogan got all butthurt because CNN said the Ivermectin he took was horse dewormer. They were wrong to do it, but he can't let it go and has went all in on Covid conspiracy nonsense.
After four days back, the kid's school is switching to virtual. Which he and I both hate. I think he and I are going to spend a lot of time on the MX track. Fuck virtual learning.
