Humility? Sure I could see him maybe doing that for a very short while, sticking to comedic guests and avoiding these topics. And by a short while I mean maybe half an episode, every single episode is about Covid and his deliberate misinformation about it. He is incapable of not talking about it, how much LA sucks, cancel culture and on and on. The grift has proven to be to much for him to fight, which hey, it’s a free country, grift away Rogan. Just look at how much press he’s getting, imagine the sales at OnIt have enjoyed a nice bump for the idiots who buy his shit. I checked out after two things, the podcast where he legitimately tried to sell the fact that he doesn’t know Ivermectin that he took in pill form and the horse dewormer “Ivermectin” share similar properties and names. And this was after months of news reports of the Ivermectin in the dewormer melting peoples insides. He must of just missed all those news stories. The first thing was when he had Elon on the second time, tried to sell the bullshit that he didn’t know the fucking rockets landed themselves, he couldn’t have been trying to gargle Elons balls harder if he tried. He can deny it all he wants but his influence has definitely contributed to Covid misinformation and therefore vaccine hesitancy in this country and abroad.
A similar thing happened to Bill Maher. I used to watch his show because it had a good format and he got good guests. But then every episode became about whatever personal gripes he couldn't stop whining about, and he'd drag the guests into engaging on those topics week after week, and it just became a chore to watch and I stopped.
Don't forget Adam Corolla and Mark Garagos. I had a lot of respect for Corolla after the patent troll shit where he stood his ground like a fucking boss. And Reasonable Doubt was a really cool show. Then it became a bitch-fest about *who gives a shit* and free advertising for Mark's shitty Tapas joint. Small plates, small plates, juggle my balls. And as for the Freedom Convoy GoFundMe bullshit, fuck'em. If their political illiteracy is any indication, I'd wager not one of those stupid fucks bothered to read the fine print and as a result got bilked because they didn't do any due diligence. Zero sympathy. Clever protest though, in that big rigs are a great way to gum up the works. Gotta give credit where credit is due.
Why does everyone believe this is some duplicitous cash cow of his? I noticed couple people here mention it and my liberal friend brought it up the same week. DNC send out an email? Chris Hayes do a segment? His income from stand up, his spotify deal, and even his limited cage fighting commentary probably far outstrip what he takes in being involved with Onit. That he's purposefully antivaxx to push his supplements on people is unsubstantiated speculation. He fucked up apologizing, the animals on twitter take that as a sign of weakness and pounce 10x as hard. He could be truly remorseful of dropping the N bomb but thats not what they want, they want blood.
If you've ever attended medical school in Canada your second year of residency requires you to time travel to 1863 United States to fight in the 26th Alabama. That's why you can see confederate flags in this very very medical protest.
We have plenty of bigoted fucks serving the public in OUR country too. The truckers are redneck protesters fucking up people’s lives, not twenty peaceful natives holding signs. The RCMP don’t attack unless they see dreamcatchers (because they’re racist pussies). If these protestors were natives they would be on the receiving ends of baton rounds and attack dogs 24/7, make no mistake.
An interesting deep dive on what may be going on with the Rogan cancel campaign and who is finding it: https://twitter.com/wokal_distance/status/1490220423270699009?s=21
Oh fuck off. Nobody is funding my opinion that he's a fucking smart guy punching above his weight class about shit he knows nowhere near enough to push the opinions he does. Now HE'S the victim of a conspiracy?
Well yeah, Mencia has had it out for him for years after Rogan revealed him as a complete and utter hack.
it all starts with "an interesting take" or "an interesting look." The idea is that you'll read it for yourself and also be "interested" by it. No credible sources, just speculation, connecting two random points with a line and calling it proof
Calling it The Rogan Cancel Campaign speaks volumes. Never mind jumping straight to who’s funding it. How about just “enough with the shit already” natural pushback? Why a conspiracy?
Absolutely. That’s why I would be happy to see a liberal government finally have the nuts to outlaw conservatism and remove the problem completely.
Is there a point at which you'll get bored of this joke or are you just going to continue serenading us with it like you're an unemployed Albertan trucker shitting in a snowbank in Ottawa?
