Ivermectin Does Not Reduce Risk of Covid Hospitalization, Large Study Finds At this point I'm not even convinced it works as an anti-parasitical, given the fact that Trump fans have been downing it like candy and they still have brain worms.
I gave my dog Ivermectin last week for heartworm prevention. I'm assuming he's protected against COVID?
I finally went and got my first booster yesterday. I wanted to get Novavax, but the FDA is dragging ass on EUA for it. I got Pfizer instead after getting Moderna for the first two. Good news is I'm getting a pretty good immune response. The bad news is I feel like ass and I'm running a moderate fever.
Because shit is kind of getting back to normal, a bit. Either you're a fucktard who thinks the world is flat, or you are vaccinated and surviving. I know so many people who are getting COVID right now, but they are all at home, with the equivalent of a bad cold. Thanks to being properly vaccinated with boosters. Even then, with the mask mandates going away, there is an uptick, and more people in the hospital, but fewer deaths, and more and more of those deaths are from those people who have not been vaccinated. Even then, medical professionals know how to treat COVID better, so mortality rate is down. Crazy.
Shit is BRUTAL there right now. I'm amazed. Nobody allowed out, not even for food. They are rounding up pet cats and killing them. They have gone full retard on the mandates now, and people are going to die as a result... and not from COVID. It boggles my mind.
My tinfoil hat makes me wonder if they are just using this to further subjugate the people. The amount of anti ccp protesting has been increasing. So a full militarized lockdown to “control the spread” seem awfully coincidental.
One of my brother's old coworkers seems to be just getting much more work done. A successful architect in lockdown he's been posting endless content on the buildings he's done. I can tell you this. If this type of shit truly happened to this level in America it wouldn't be the maga crowd that finally popped it off. It'd be one video of a corgi beaten to death by health inspectors. DC would like worse than Ukraine.
I’ve also read reports that they’re welding doors shut to keep them in apparently no one owns angle grinders in China
At some point there was going to be a strain transmissible enough that even these styles of lockdowns wasn’t going to stop it. Apparently the Chinese really care about their grandparents.
Which style of lockdowns actually worked? Last time I checked none of them did and we’re nowhere after two years. Lockdowns worked at destroying a lot of smaller businesses, but COVID spread regardless of them. Making them stricter is only going to make people angrier than they already are.
Totally disagree. Our lockdowns were very successful in reducing the rate at which it spread. It was never meant to stop it. Without those lockdowns, and minimal vaccinations, we'd have been screwed.
Lockdowns were demonstrably proven to be effective at reducing the rate of transmission. When they were actually followed. The problem is that a large # of people were dicks and more concerned about "muh freedums!" than showing a bit of empathy for others.
imo Canada went too far in one direction, while the US -- generally speaking -- went too far in the other. My personal comfort zone would have been somewhere in the middle (like maybe California specifically), but if I had to pick I would have chosen Canada's style. Anyone going more strict than Canada has me looking sideways, and anyone even considering going less than the US can fuck all the way off. I'm not aware of any reasonable argument that lockdowns and restrictions were ineffective though.
