She has no right to be upset, because she got precisely what she asked for, and she demanded it on camera. Lie in the bed you make.
https://www.ft.com/content/6bd88b7d-3386-4543-b2e9-0d5c6fac846c This is an interesting look at it, and pretty simple math: average deaths around this time of year, compared to what we're seeing in COVID.
Guys, you know the rules. Constructive criticism = yes. Unadulterated vitriol = no. Keep it between the lines
Thanks, Canada! I knew eventually Justin Bieber and Geddy Lee would do a project together. No Drake, though?
Texas is doing a 3-phase re-opening, first phase effective friday. With the first phase, restaurants and movie theaters can open if they maintain 25% occupancy. I have no clue how they'll remain profitable under those conditions, unless they seriously jack up their prices. My brother thought he was going to be able to re-open his gym with the first phase and announced it before the announcement. Kinda funny to watch them have to walk that back. They're gonna be the last ones allowed to open. As they should be.
They really want the Spanish Flu bump. I figured phase one would be, small things like an emphasis on expanding takeout options and opening up stores that aren't essential but sell things that we're starting to need like clothes and DIY haircutting kits. Not lets open up movie theaters, even at 25% capacity people are what 3 feet apart and we know that people aren't going to sit in the garbage seats they're going to clump together in the good 25% of the seats. My friends in Texas are doubling down on self isolation after this announcement.
And watch a Black Widow prequel at home? I’d rather fucking die. That would be pretty smart of your friends at this point. Not even a football stadium filled with prayers is going make the pandemic go away at this point. Things aren’t better, so why even think about opening back up? Sit down and eat your shit sandwich. Consumers are like crack addicts, not even death itself will stop them.
The biggest message that I've gotten from the lockdown protests is the "I need a haircut" people. They NEED someone to provide services to them. It doesn't matter what the service is they need that feeling of getting someone to do something for them so they can feel better about themselves. It's the same mindset that leads anti-vaxxers to decide that their facebook research beats a medical degree. And it is just going to get people killed.
I’m not fucking going anywhere. Instead of trying to localize hotspots and lock down areas strategically, let’s just open up. Houston has had pretty low numbers so far. I think that’s gonna change.
there’s gonna be a second wave, just a matter of how big and at what point are the numbers acceptable? Everything is gonna look fine for 5-14 days, people are gonna start getting relaxed, and then it’s gonna hit like a ton of bricks. Hang onto your Stetsons. These next two weeks are gonna be real interesting.
I like to think that he misheard "sanitizer" as "saladtizer" and has been chugging thousand island to clean out the virus.
We won’t be opening anything in Ontario at all until after May TwoFour weekend. That’s the third weekend of May. Even then, nothing will open at all if conditions worsen and/or diagnoses increase. My house has zero complaints with that. We have a backyard, streaming, access to groceries, etc. Little to complain about. Nothing to worth risking lives over.
Original video removed from Youtube for being against policy....nothing that contradicts the WHO will remain on youtube......The same WHO that says antibodies aren't going to help, masks won't help earlier and human-to-human transmission wasn't a thing in the even earlier days.
https://www.facebook.com/892778157420170/posts/3298524456845516/?d=n To the best of my knowledge these guys are incorrect. It’s also worth noting that throughout all of this that it’s been an evolving situation. It’s unreasonable to expect all information to have remained valid up until now. I’m not saying don’t be sceptical, just be reasonable.
What part of what they said is incorrect? It's an hour long and there is a lot of information there. How many times can they (The WHO) be wrong and clearly not validate the information they provide before espousing it before you start to go elsewhere for information?
