    Today turned out surprisingly well. Met some friends downtown in the morning to kind of show them around Toronto; the annoying ones left at lunch as they did not approve of my choice of eating venue. Outstanding. The rest of us proceeded to eat some delicious food, then go to another place with a wonderful beer menu and drink some more, then go somewhere else again with another wonderful beer menu and ate some more delicious food and got sloshed and laughed way too hard at stupid things.

    Sadly I arrived a bit too late back at the hostel to partake of the free barbecue that was going on. Oh well. I didn't bring any beer to socialize with and need to save up my sleep stores for the coming week.
